I got to know Steve and Chris during their high school, college, and post-college days when they would come over to visit Robert and play pool. Steve was always extremely polite yet fun to be around; he has a great sense of humor and there was lots of laughter coming from the pool table room. He loved my chocolate cake. Sometimes he would bring over his own pool cue and visit with us while he waited on Robert to get in from college. Then the game was on for those boys! They laughed a lot and carried on; they were such good friends. I e-mailed Steve a few months ago and he e-mailed me pictures of his boys; he was so proud of them. So many, many people will never forget Steve. I'm one of them. Lera Powell (Robert Powell's mother) LERA POWELL, APRIL 8, 2007 Angie, My thoughts and prayers go to you and your family.
