Think. What do I believe? Act. What should I do? Be. Who am I becoming? Believe

know what you & why it matters Grounded in Scripture, Believe is a unique discipleship experience that helps Christians of all ages become more like Jesus in their beliefs, actions, and character. This topical, abridged Bible illuminates the core beliefs of the Christian faith to help you think, act, and be more like Christ.

The Believe experience includes books of carefully selected Scripture for adults, students, and kids; a companion book for discipleship and growth; a storybook for children; and curriculum for every age group. All editions of Believe unpack 30 key ideas of the Bible: 10 key beliefs, 10 key practices, and 10 key virtues of a Christian, so your whole church can learn to be more like Jesus together.

Think like Jesus. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21

God Personal God What do I believe? Salvation What you believe drives everything. The way you behave, the habits you form, the character that defines you at your core all are driven by what you believe. It s not enough to believe something as the right answer; you must believe it as a way of life. BELIEVE helps you understand the key beliefs of Christianity that, when embraced in the mind and heart, create true change in our individual lives, in the church, and in the world. The Bible Identity in Christ Church Humanity Compassion Stewardship Eternity

ACT like Jesus. Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. 1 Corinthians 9:24 27

Worship Prayer What should I do? Bible Study Single-Mindedness Understanding what you believe is just the beginning. To become like Jesus, your beliefs need to not only inform you but also transform you. It is the practices of reaching up to God and out to others that drive beliefs from your head...to your heart. BELIEVE teaches you the life-giving spiritual disciplines that will lead you in fulfilling your mission to love God and love your neighbor. BE Like Jesus. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Love Joy Who am I becoming? Jesus wants us to bear fruit that glorifies God and brings great joy to us and to others. For this to happen, we must remain in Christ. And the longer we remain in community with Christ, the more spiritual fruit, or virtues, we will produce. BELIEVE illuminates the virtues the outward life changes in us that are formed by the 10 beliefs and cemented through the 10 practices. It is a grand cycle that shapes us into the image of Christ more and more every day. Peace Self-Control Hope Patience Kindness/Goodness Faithfulness Gentleness Humility

Flexible and customizable, you can use Believe as a whole church discipleship experience, or with small groups, adult Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, new member classes, youth groups, children s ministry, and even community outreach. Believe is also available in Spanish.

Equip your whole church, from the little ones to the most seasoned members, to believe the core truths of the Bible not just in their heads but deep in their hearts to become more like Jesus every day. It s one thing to know the story of the Bible. It s another thing to live it. believe
