Greetings In The Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, New Hope We love you. I am incredibly humbled and grateful to God to serve as the Senior Pastor of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. On behalf of my family, Lady Nelson, Andrew, Ava, Walter, and I (Pastor Nelson), we would like to convey our gratitude for your constant support and prayers over these past nine years in ministry in leading God s people. I thank you in advance for your cards, expressions of love, and gifts of appreciation during our Pastoral Appreciation, as it continues to touch our hearts to receive so much love from God s people. We love all of you! As I look back over the past nine years, I appreciate the tremendous blessing God has entrusted unto me to serve as the Senior Pastor, and Shepherd of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. We are an excellent church, and I believe God is calling us to greater. God is So Awesome, as he has blessed us as Pastor and People, thus transforming our relationship into a more beautiful union. As I believe, New Hope is the best church in the world! I Love My Church! We celebrate this 9 th Anniversary, Wow! Yes, nine years. I need to remind you all that no other Minister has Pastored New Hope for this tenured in over 22 years. We have come a mighty long way and have a mighty long way to go! Let s continue on with great expectation for what God has in store for our ministry. No eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor entered into the hearts of men the things God has in store for them who love the Lord 1 Cor 2:9. New Hope let s make our prayers larger, and worship greater. New Hope, thank you for your love, and commitment demonstrated through your service and enthusiasm in the vision God has given to serve this ministry over these past nine years. Church let us remain focus on our Christcentered vision of Serving Christ, Serving the Congregation, and Serving the Community. I would like to thank you all who assistant through the renovations project of Phase 1 of our church we are safe, dry, and warm going into this winter season. As Pastor of the New Hope Baptist Church, I pray that all of you will Learn us, Love us, and Help us to Lead God s people under the direction of God s Word, God s Will and his Holy Spirit. As we gather in his name, I would like to thank my family for all their support and prayers. I would like to thank all those who helped to make this Celebration possible, the Culinary Committee, and all who attended the Morning Service. Furthermore, I would like to thank my Pastor, Rev. Albert Mailman Morgan for sharing in my 9 th Pastoral Anniversary. As we celebrate this year, we shall remain focus upon our crucified/resurrected Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who through his redemptive work we are allowed to witness this 9 th Pastoral Anniversary. The Cancer Support Group need volunteers Saturday, October 15th to join the American Cancer Society for a 5K/3mile walk to raise awareness and funds to end Breast Cancer. For more information or to sign up please see Sis. Nellie Rasberry in the foyer after service. It s that time of year to begin collecting for our annual ThanksGIVING Basket donation. Our goal this year is to provide 60 deserving families with a basket! We will need the following items to make a complete basket: frozen turkeys, canned corn, canned sweet potatoes, boxes of mashed potatoes, boxes of stuffing, jars or packets of gravy, and canned cranberry sauce. We will also accept monetary donations! If you have any questions, see Sis. Brandi Davis, Sis. Sandy Warren, or Rev. Buddy Esters. Every Thursday from 6:30-7:30 we are getting fit with ZUMBA. The cost is only $5.00 per class. Come out and enjoy this exciting exercise.
