Each apprenticeship is composed of three elements: 1. Ministry training and experience Apprentices are involved in leading youth and children s work, community development, innovative evangelistic efforts, and other church based ministry, under the notion that the best way to learn how to be a gospel minister is to do gospel ministry. 2. Biblical and theological training Ministry is backed up by rigorous and biblical training on the iserve Africa Nairobi Ministry Training Course. The course (4 week-long modules per year) focuses on communicating the gospel with a strong emphasis on faithful Bible teaching in an African context. 3. Practical service In the footsteps of the Lord Jesus, each apprentice serves their partner church or organisation with various practical tasks to enable their gospel ministry to run smoothly.
