Hope to see you there!! Christmas for Everyone (Petrolia Foodbank) With this Christmas program starting soon, perhaps you can add a little extra food or gifts for children under 16 to your shopping cart this week? Operation Christmas Child - Samaritan's Purse Give joy to a child in need. The shoe boxes are available in the foyer with a brochure with instructions on how to fill a box. Operation Christmas Child works with churches in 15 countries around the world to deliver the boxes to children living in war, poverty and disaster. Shoeboxes open the door for children to hear about God's greatest gift- Jesus Christ. After receiving a shoebox, many children choose to participate in a Bible study program, to learn about following Jesus and sharing the Good News with others. Please have the boxes filled and returned to the church by Sunday November 19. If you are unable to do an entire shoe box and/or if you have some extra items for the shoe boxes, please bring them and place them in the BIG RED AND GREEN SHOE BOX by the front door. For more information or to pack a box on-line, visit: SamaritansPurse.ca/OCC. Thank you for your support. The Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) 2017 Gift Catalogue is in! Your purchase of a "gift" of a goat, a cow, a pig, chickens, medical care or tuition for a child's education from the Hopeful Gifts for Change Catalogue will give marginalized children and families what they need for fuller and healthier lives. CBM works with local churches in delivering programs in Bolivia, India and several African countries. Please consider making a donation to help others, instead of buying a Christmas gift for a loved one. Check out the catalogue on the table in the foyer or go on line at www.cbmin.org. www.mlha.ca The Middlesex-Lambton-Huron Association of Baptist Churches has a new web-site! Take a look and see what we are a part of.

Elders at WBC A Question of Gender We have recently completed a 4 week study on whether or not women would serve as elders as we head into a new church governance. This question has a long standing matter of debate in the Christian church. We have made the notes from these sessions available on our church website. www.wyomingbaptist.com (under RESOURCES). PAD Is Available At no cost to the church anyone can set up pre-authorized donations (PAD) to the Church with their donations automatically going from their banking institution to the church Current account at Southwest Credit Union. You can set-up, change or cancel the PAD at any time. 1. Come to office for a form that you will fill out and attach a cancelled cheque. You can also go to the Credit Union for a copy of the form. 2. Let the office know the amount and frequency that you will set up. 3. Take the form to the Southwest Credit Union in Wyoming. We ask that you inform the office of any additions, changes or cancelation of your PAD in order for the church office to record your donation accurately and ensure that the official Income Tax Receipting is correct at year end.
