Special Guest Preacher On Sunday, February 11, the WV Annual Conference Director of Youth and Outdoor Ministries, Rev. Shea James will be with us at First UMC, Princeton, to bring the morning message. Pastor Scott hopes and prays that we will have a great turnout (and great weather) for this guest preacher from our Annual Conference. February 14, 2018 at 6:30 PM We will begin the season of Lent with an Ash Wednesday service. Worship will include the Imposition of Ashes where the pastor places ashes in the shape of a cross on the foreheads of those who so desire to receive it. This mark is a reminder to the person wearing it that we are people of the Cross, thus we understand that God will make something new of our lives. Please Note: The Handbell Choir will practice at 5pm tonight. Mother s Day Musical The children s CFT program concludes on March 14th with their Show Off night. Beginning March 21st, the children will continue to utilize Wednesday Night / Church Night to prepare for upcoming worship music and our Mother s Day program. Some of those rehearsals may not be for the entire choir but rather for smaller groups to work on solos, blocking, and lines. Schedule will be forthcoming. For further info, please contact Sherrie Price. If you are interested in attending the Shipwrecked Group VBS Funshop training to be held here on Sat., April 21st, from 9:00-12:30 PM, please indicate so on today's Connect Card. This training prepares us for a great VBS week! The church will cover the expense of $15 if you sign up by April 7th. Please only register if you are certain you will attend. Registration increases to $40 after April 7th. Questions? Call or text Barb at 304-920-8186. VBS Week: July 15th - 19th (Sun-Th) 6:00-8:30 PM
