Rebecca Jordan Heys preaches from Ezekiel 37:1-14, Dry Bones and Fresh Wind. We welcome soloist Paul Herrema, and we commission our CYG youth for their service-learning trip to Zuni, New Mexico. We will use the Wayfinding Bible this morning. Copies of the scripture are at the information desk in the atrium and table in the narthex. Evening worship: Seminarian Becky Tjapkes preaches from Colossians 1:15-23, Sing the Song of Faith. We worship in the sanctuary. WORSHIP Next Sunday, June 25 Morning worship: Seminarian Becky Tjapkes will preach from Isaiah 55. Trudi Huizenga will lead us in ministry of music. The offering will be for Holland Home. Evening worship: Rev. Arianna Tolsma will lead our evening worship. The offering will be for Baxter Community Center. Staff notes: Pastor Rebecca will be traveling with the high school youth group to Zuni, New Mexico from June 24-July 1. CHURCH FAMILY Bob & Irma Koornneef will be visiting Calvin Church on June 25 and special Fellowship cookies will be served after the morning service when everyone may greet the Koornneefs. CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRIES VBS PASSPORT TO PERU: Help spread the word! Invite your friends, grandchildren and neighbors for a fun Peruvian experience! Online registration is open. ZUNI PRAYER PARTNERS: Fifteen people will be headed to Zuni, New Mexico from June 24-July 1 for a time of mission and learning. We are so excited about what God will do through this experience, and we need your prayers! Sign up to be a prayer partner at the table in the narthex. We ll pair you with a student or leader who is going on the trip. CALVIN CHURCH GARDEN CLUB would like to invite you to our first garden tour of the season next Wednesday evening, June 28. Please plan to meet at church to carpool to the lovely home and multiple gardens of the Rogers family in Alaska. More details will be in next week s bulletin. REQUESTED ANNOUNCEMENTS Grand Rapids Christian High School International Student Program: This is an invitation to be a host family for a 9 th grade student from Omi-Brotherhood school in Omihachiman, Japan. He wants to attend Grand Rapids Christian High School from this August until March. Families receive a $650 stipend per month to cover expenses. Growing in Discipleship Transformed for Ministry Welcome to Calvin Church In Worship: Our worship proceeds unannounced and follows the printed liturgy. The Chancel banner expresses the Christian belief that in one God there are three divine persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The color green represents spiritual growth during the season of the Lord s life and ministry. Large print resources are available at the information desk. Adult coloring pages are on the TRIP table in the narthex. Our facility is equipped with the Loop hearing system. For Children: Ages 0-2: Infant and toddler nurseries are available. Preschool: The Little Children (TLC) gathers downstairs in room 19 prior to the morning worship. Busy Bags for young children are on the picket fence in the atrium. Bulletins for older children are in the rack in the narthex. Coloring pages and colored pencils are available at the table in the narthex. Fellowship and Information: Everyone is invited to the Fellowship Hall for refreshments following the morning service.
