Today s Scripture Readings for September 25th are as follows: Isaiah 45:11-48:11 Ephesians 4:1-16 Psalm 68:19-35 Proverbs 24:3-4 Verse(s) of The Day Pro 24:3 By wisdom a house is built, by understanding it is prepared, Pro 24:4 and by knowledge its rooms are filled with every rare and pleasing treasure.

Golden Nugget from His Word He Gave Gifts To Men Eph 4:11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, Eph 4:12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, Eph 4:13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, Eph 4:14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Eph 4:15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, Eph 4:16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. Who gave? Yeshua is the giver of these gifts. What did He give? The Apostle, The Prophet, The Evangelist, The Shepherds and Teachers Why did He give them? So that we can become mature and cause spiritual growth in His body. It is Yeshua who chooses who will fill these positions by the Ruach HaKodesh and places the anointing they need to carry out this service. They all have a function and a purpose and that is to help the Body of Messiah grow to maturity so that each person can fulfill their purpose in the Body of Messiah and help the Body to grow strong and healthy in Messiah. In order for them to fulfill their call, they also need the cooperation of the Body of Messiah. The Tabernacle in the wilderness is a pattern for leadership and order. This is the pattern that we need to follow in our Communities as well so we can function as a Holy set apart people of YHWH. We need to appreciate the gifts that Yeshua gave to His Body and support them as well with our prayers and financial support so that we can complete the job Yeshua gave us to do on this earth.
