Page 6 This year, World Mission Sunday will take place on October 22. On that day, we celebrate who we are as Christians: missionary disciples. It s a time of prayer. We are also invited to look beyond our local Church in Canada and assist through financial gifts, the missionary work needed in the young dioceses in many developing countries. An example of this work is providing health care centres, building schools, and empowering lay pastoral workers, construction of convents and presbyteries. Please pray for the missions and show generosity on World Mission Sunday. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind. Luke 10:27 Christian yoga is a spiritual discipline, much like prayer, fasting and meditation, designed to facilitate the worship and celebration of God through physical movement and meditation.
