Holy Trinity Parish Family Perspective Jesus announces in Luke s gospel that he comes to proclaim liberty to captives and announce a year of favor for the Lord. In this Jubilee Year of Mercy let us follow Pope Francis call to practice the corporal works of mercy. First in our own families, but also with others - especially those who are forgotten. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FREE THROW CONTEST All girls and boys ages 9 to 14 as of January 1, are eligible to enter this free event to be held at St. Mary s Avon, on January 29 at 6:30 PM. Registration will start at 6:00 PM and a parent signature will be required. Ages 9, 10 and 11 year olds will shoot from a 12 foot line, while all older children shoot from the regulation line. Winners in each age/gender bracket will advance to District competition.
