New Testament Visual aids Welcome to this latest resource from CEP designed to help make your job of presenting the gospel easier and more effective. We have collected together all the fabulous full-colour artwork our illustrator, Leigh Hedstrom, has created for us over many years for several of the CEP curriculum resources including Connect SRE materials and kids@church Sunday school material. We have converted it all to individual graphic files that we hope you will be able to use to enhance your lessons, kid s talks, gospel presentations, outreach events, school assemblies, sermons and more. This CD-Rom contains the following full-colour clip art files: 66 scenes of important events in the New Testament 6 maps relevant to the New Testament 10 teaching aids relevant to New Testament teaching 89 character pictures of people we meet in the New Testament. Each file on the CD-ROM is numbered and briefly named. A chart showing the full title for each number and also the relevant Bible references (where applicable) is shown below. We hope you find this CD-ROM an extremely valuable resource to your individual ministry and pray that God s blessings go with you as you present his gospel to the next generation. Important: This resource is designed for use in the ministry of the person buying the resource. Please take the time to read the copyright information set out below. A similar CD-ROM containing Visual images of the Old Testament is also available from CEP. Using the New Testament Visual aids Use these clip art images to liven up your lessons, kids talks or sermons. The images are all presented as jpeg files which can be printed out on a coloured copier as hardcopy posters to be displayed, shown on a laptop and with a data projector onto a screen. Using Scene Images These scene image files work well to illustrate a lesson. You may choose to use single images or a series of images related to the particular lesson you are teaching. Using Character Files Create your own original presentations by inserting character file(s) into your PowerPoint presentation. You may choose to add backgrounds or text in order to make the presentation suit your individual needs. If you are using Microsoft Office 2000 or a later version, select the clip art and use the set transparent colour tool to remove the white background. NT Visual aids Notes Inserting Clip Art Select Insert > File > (location of your clip art) Click on the required clip and insert it. Resizing Clip Art Clip art is rarely the correct size for your slide. It is easy to reduce or enlarge the clip art to suit your needs however remember to drag from the corner handles to maintain the correct proportions of the image. Animation To make your presentation come alive you can animate the clip art (if it is suitable to your presentation). These options are Animation Schemes and Custom Animation. Select Slide Show > Animation Schemes Select Slide Show > Custom Animation Slide Transitions Slide transitions provide a quick alternative to animation of objects on a slide to make your presentation a bit more interesting. Select Slide Show > Slide Transition Copyright Inclusions Copyright permission is given to the owner 1) to print hardcopies as visual aids or handouts for your school or church use 2) to create your own presentations using the images stored on this CD-ROM 3) to project on screen for public performance. Copyright Exclusions Permission is not given as royalty free artwork. This does not allow the reprinting, reselling or reproducing of the illustrations in any form other than for the purposes it was intended for on this CD-ROM.
