WELCOME! Printed name tags are in the foyer for high school students, members and regular attenders. Please wear your name tag during the worship service! Guests can request a printed name tag by completing the Welcome Card found in the bulletin. Communion takes place the fourth Sunday of every month and the Deacon Fund offering is taken. This fund is to help those who have special needs within our church and the community. OUR NURSERY Nursery is provided year-round during the worship service for children from birth through age two, and is located in Room 204. Two-year-old go to Room 206 for their own Sunday School time when the other children are dismissed. CHILDREN S SUNDAY SCHOOL We use The Gospel Project curriculum, a three-year chronological timeline of the Bible. Classes meet in the following rooms: ages 2-3 in Room 206 ages 4-5 in Rooms 201 and 205. Kindergarten-1 st grade in Room 207 3rd-4 th grades meet in Room 210. Children are dismissed from the sanctuary after the Congregational Prayer (about 10:00 a.m. we will announce dismissal). Classes are dismissed at 11:00 a.m. after Fellowship Time. On communion Sundays (typically the 4 th Sunday of the month) K-4 th grade students are invited to join the younger students in Sunday School to learn about our missionaries. Parents will have the option of having their children return to the sanctuary for the communion celebration. For questions regarding Sunday School, email spefcsundayschool@gmail.com.

AWANA HAPPENINGS AWANA, our mid-week kids club for children age 3 to 6 th grade meets every Wednesday that school is in session from 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Children are invited to join at any time during the school year and can register the first night they attend. Contact the church office or visit the website www.gracewaysaukprairie.org/awana - for more information. YOUTH HAPPENINGS Youth Group at GraceWay Church is underway for the 2017-18 school year. Youth group is open to all students currently in grades 7-12 and meets on Wednesday nights from 7:15 to 8:45 every Wednesday that school is in session. The focus is on giving students opportunities to grow in their relationship with Jesus and to build positive relationships with caring adults and other students. UP NORTH WOMEN S RETREAT October 6-8 at Crescent Lake Bible Camp in Rhinelander Cost: $105 (includes transportation, food, & lodging) The goal of this retreat is to provide a getaway weekend for women. PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS Our next congregational meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 25, at 7 p.m. The members will be voting on several applications for membership. HURRICANE HARVEY RESPONSE & BRAT STAND As the flood waters recede in Houston, the devastation is becoming more apparent, reaching billions of dollars. What can we do? Pray, serve, and give. GraceWay is accepting donations for the EFCA ReachGlobal through September 17. The donation box is in the GraceWay Happenings area. There will be a brat stand at Ballweg Family Pharmacy on Saturday, September 23 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Proceeds to go to the relief efforts. KNOWING OUR MISSIONARIES As Campus Life Director, Mike organizes and leads outreach and discipleship events and Bible studies for the middle and high school students of the Fargo, North Dakota and Moorhead, Minnesota areas. The King Family Mike and Patty; Nate, Clint, Chelsea & Josh PRAYER AND PRAISE June Bare suffered a possible stroke. Pray for God s touch and His perfect will in her life, as well as for peace and comfort for June s family. Elaine Drachenberg is scheduled for open heart surgery with a valve replacement on September 19. She is expected to spend one week in the hospital, followed by a time of recovery in the nursing home. Pray for a successful surgery, followed by a return to full health and strength. Pray that God will grant complete peace to Elaine and her family as she anticipates the surgery. Barb Pierce s nephew Tim, fell off a ladder and broke his neck. He was scheduled for trauma surgery on September 15. Pray for Tim and his wife, both of whom are believers. Please pray for 7-year old Karen Uselman, the granddaughter of Dale and Ellen Wright's friend, Julie. Karen has been diagnosed with Fanconi's Anemia. Pray for healing, and that a suitable donor will be found soon. Continue to pray for the millions suffering the effects of the recent hurricanes. Pray that God will draw many unto Himself, and work good through these disasters. Specifically, we thank God for protecting relatives of the Wrights, and for bringing Adam Hanson home safely.
