Mary s Song 46 And Mary said: My soul glorifies the Lord 47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour, 48 for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, 49 for the Mighty One has done great things for me holy is his name. 50 His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation. 51 He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts. 52 He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. 53 He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. 54 He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful 55 to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as he promised our ancestors.

We hope to gradually get to know each other over that time. Their names are Carol. David, Greta, John and Judith. The team are undertaking a report on Mission in Sanderstead which will include looking at what we are currently engaged in and identifying other possible opportunities. The first part of this work is a Mission Audit. This work forms part of their academic studies and hopefully will also be of use to us as we seek to further our mission in Sanderstead. The team have asked for our prayers as they undertake this project and have identified a prayer from Common Worship they would like us to pray: Eternal God, giver of love and power, your Son Jesus Christ has sent us into all the world to preach the gospel of his kingdom: confirm us in this mission, and help us to live the goodness we proclaim; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
