October 16, 2015 Dear In Jin nim, How are you? I hope you and your family are well. Along with attending Sanctuary Church every week, I make it a point to watch your sermons online. This letter is being written in response to one you gave on September 20 entitled What Is Love? I enjoyed hearing your poem, and am praying along with you that the day will come soon when the great hope it represents will be fulfilled. In your sermon you expressed incredulity towards Hyung Jin nim for referring to Mother as the Mother of Harlots. You stated that this kind of rhetoric, if left unchecked, will eventually destroy the church. Your understanding of his motivation is conveyed when you say: If we are a person of love, are we going to superimpose Revelation 17 on the person we can t stand? These words imply that Hyung Jin nim s disparaging comparison stems not from love, but rather from a deep dislike of his mother. The undigested pain of an unhappy childhood, you say elsewhere in your sermon, is the true motivation for his condemnatory language. I want to share with you in this letter, In Jin nim, why I think you have misjudged your brother. I believe he is a son of great filial piety by risking scorn and rejection for the sake of the truth. My opinion is that God led Hyung Jin nim to give such a shocking sermon because He is in the process of dividing our movement. Either you believe: 1) Hyung Jin nim is faithfully following Father, and Mother has left her position as a true wife, or 2) Mother is faithfully following Father, and Hyung Jin nim has left his position as a true son. The gray fog of indecision has evaporated, and we are each being asked to take sides in this time of the noonday sun. Please know that no one at Sanctuary Church is rejoicing at the thought of Mother actually being the fulfillment of Revelation 17. It is heartbreaking beyond belief. You argue that Revelation 17 could not possibly apply to Mother, because John of Patmos was only addressing the people of his time. Using the sexual imagery of the harlot, John was warning fellow Christians against conforming to the pagan standards of the Roman Empire. In the first three chapters of Revelation, John was writing to his contemporaries; he addresses each of the seven Roman churches by name. But beginning with the fourth chapter, he moves from the present conditions of fledgling Christianity to the universal church. John s apocryphal style of writing makes this book often difficult to understand. Scholars have speculated that John deliberately used this cryptic style in order to prevent further persecution from his Roman captors. Using plain language would have further endangered his life, but the mystical style he employed would have appeared as plain nonsense to his imprisoners. John clearly proclaims, however, that Christ will return in the Last Days as King and Judge. We can have great hope that by following the returning Messiah with unwavering faith, we can live with him forever in perfect peace and security. 1.
But what about the Queen? This is the burning question for Unificationists, who believe that the image of a solitary Christ is insufficient. True Adam alone is not enough, there must also be a True Eve. Together, they will fulfill God s long awaited desire for the True Parents, the first man and woman to become God s true son and daughter. Hyung Jin nim has been criticized for placing great emphasis on the phrase Bride of Christ. His detractors claim that only people stuck in the last millennium use such antiquated terminology. But, in fact, comprehending the profundity of this simple phrase is the key to understanding how far Mother has fallen from her position as True Eve. Please allow me to offer a brief explanation. We cannot truly know Father without knowing Jesus. Because they are both from the God of Night, they have the same heartistic substance. Therefore, Father was speaking of himself as well as Jesus when he said: Christians know that Jesus is Lord and that he is the source of love. They want to unite with him and receive that love. But they cannot do so by simply reading the Bible. It is only when they yearn and long for Jesus that they can become a part of him What does it really mean to believe in Jesus? Jesus is a man. He was like the original Adam before the fall Christianity is the only religion that teaches people to long for Jesus and love him and welcome him as a bride welcomes her bridegroom. We should want to penetrate Jesus to the marrow of his bone. (1/18/73) Father identifies the Holy Spirit as the feminine aspect of God which urges us to go back to Jesus, the unfallen Adam: Thus, all Christians must become part of the seed in Jesus body in order to become his children, reborn through the Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit is in the position of the spouse of Jesus. I still remember, many years ago as a new member, how excited I was to discover that the Holy Spirit had finally been made flesh in the person of True Mother. But was Hak Ja Han born as sinless Eve, or did she need to also be reborn through the Messiah to have her lineage restored? Father makes it clear that although she was a woman of purity, her lineage was fallen: True Mother is so pure. She may not be so knowledgeable about the secular world but she is so pure that she could be raised correctly according to God s will and now she deals with the world. Mother came from the lineage of the fallen archangel. To do this I had to go forward with absolute faith, absolute love, and absolute obedience. Therefore I came this far with that kind of belief and faith. Since she came from the fallen lineage I had to go completely the opposite way of the universe. I had to deny everything. (10/1/03) 2.
How, then, was Hak Ja Han to make the transformation from fallen woman to the physical manifestation of the Holy Spirit? She had to completely submit herself to unfallen Adam, and be reborn as his sinless bride. Through her submission, she would be able to reverse the path of original Eve, who willingly became the bride of Satan. By surrendering to true Adam, Hak Ja Han would have become both the model and gateway for all of humanity to return to God. As the head bride of Christ, Mother was meant to be our example of love and longing for the bridegroom. After his death, she should have led humankind back to unfallen Adam, encouraging us to penetrate even the marrow of his bone. But since Father s passing, has Mother acted as the bride of Christ, encouraging everyone to return to God s sinless son? The exact opposite has occurred; her words and actions since September 2012 reveal an ongoing promotion of the Han lineage over the Moon lineage. On July 1, 2014, she went one step further and elevated herself to the level of Jesus, declaring that she had been in fact born sinless (the process of changing the lineage occurred in her mother s womb.) Father, on the other hand, did not actually achieve a state of sinlessness until he met Jesus at age 15. Mother s claim is directly at odds with Father s words, who claimed to originate from a different seed than Mother and the rest of humankind. They cannot both be right. More and more evidence is emerging that there was a great deal of conflict between Father and Mother in the last few years of his life. On January 19, 2012, multiple sources have verified that Father said to Mother after Hoon Dook Hae: Do not brag about Anju (Mother s hometown) and the family name Han. If you do that, you don t become True Mother. Those who claim that Mother unequivocally achieved total unity with Father choose to ignore the fact that in 2010, he told Mother that she had until June 16, 2013, to perfect herself. Father s words may appear to contradict themselves; bold proclamations of Hak Ja Han as the victorious True Mother are easily found in his speeches. We need to remember, however, that such statements are predicated on a critical caveat, also spoken by True Father: True Mother s greatness was in obeying my directions absolutely. (January 1, 1997) To reverse the fall, the woman in the position of Eve must demonstrate an unwavering commitment to God s word. With this perspective as our backdrop we are able to understand more clearly the gravity of the spiritual crime committed when Mother replaced the 8 Great Textbooks with 3 of her own. She says: There are 3 core books in preparation that are a summary of Father s words: the Cheon Seong Gyeong, Pyeong Hwa Gyeong (Peace Messages) and a third, the Champumo Gyeong, or True Parents life story. Through these 3 books we can become one with True Parents. Here is what Father said about the words of True Parents: True Parents have already prepared the last words I will give to humankind. These have been prepared based on my triumphs over 3.

He gave clear warning to those who might want to change his words: You idiots! What does a stupid idiot mean? We see them, and we have to deal with them. We have to move beyond that, there s no other way. It is with that content I spoke of the Cheon Seong Gyeong, and the Pyeong Hwa Shin Gyeong. They don t contain any of my personal feelings. That s why I m telling you not to mix in any other words into it. If I said shit, then it s shit. If I said fist, then it should read fist. In-depth analyses are available which reveal the enormity of the redaction which has taken place. Here s one example which shows Father s and Mother s contrasting attitudes towards The Owner of Peace, Owner of Lineage. Father said: So you need to publish this precious book in the original text as is read by Parents. This is what will last for thousands and even tens of thousands of years. In the future, this should be printed on paper made with diamonds, made with gold and platinum. This book sets a standard; it is comparable to the one meter bar that is housed in the Louvre. But has Mother preserved this tiny jewel, the smallest book of the 8? On the contrary, she changed it to protect herself. If Mother can t do it, or has made mistakes, you have to be able to say Mother, you have to repent. Unless you receive the blessing again from me, there is no way for you to live. We can see in this one instance how the text has been altered to absolve Mother of any possible wrongdoing. It can be unbearable sometimes to face our shortcomings, but that still does not give any of us the right to change the words of Christ. 4.
In Jin nim, what is the spiritual force behind the deliberate distortion of the Messiah s words? Dear sister, what is the invisible power that promotes a fallen lineage over the messianic lineage? It has to be someone or something at war with Christ. The book of Revelations identifies the one who makes war with the Lamb (Christ) as the Mother of Harlots, who rides the beast of seven heads and ten horns. She is the fallen Eve who does not repent, who was seduced by Lucifer for the purpose of dominating Adam. Hak Ja Han is presently playing the role of the harlot in that she became spiritually intimate with those who are using her for money and power. She united with the false words of her confidantes, rather than honoring the words of her Lord and Savior. As the wife of Christ, she was to assume the role of Progenitor of all Eves. But because of her flagrant disunity, she has become, in fact, the Mother of Harlots i.e. the original ancestor of all women harnessed to the lineage of the archangel. Because she was supposed to fulfill the role of True Mother on the cosmic plane, the ramifications of her transgression are on the universal level depicted in the Book of Revelations. Harsh language, indeed. But in the words of an old Russian proverb, Better to be slapped with the truth than kissed with a lie. Let me close with loving words from Father which shine the light on our path as his brides: Women are Eve; they cannot decide on their own paths to follow. You want to keep my photograph and live day and night before me. You don t want to go somewhere else and get married. Even after 100 years, when you are in the spirit world, you can call out Father and we can meet and discuss things and understand each other fully in the same way that I am able to communicate with heaven.
