Christian churches in the U.S will receive a punishment like Sodom by Jeremiah Today, my topic is Christian churches in the U.S will receive a punishment like Sodom, " and we are going to think about the judgment of God against Christian churches in the U.S. They are going to be destroyed by the fire because of their sin. <Babylon means Christian churches in the U.S> Some of you may be thinking What makes you say that Christian churches in the U.S will receive punishment like Sodom and Gomorrah did? This is quite understandable; therefore I would like to describe it step by step. As you know, Revelation prophesizes that Babylon will be destroyed by the fire as stated below. Revelation 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 18:10 Standing afar off for fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. As I have mentioned before, we understand that Babylon in Revelation is a parable of Christian churches in the U.S due to the reasons below. 1. The way Babylon is described is related to the church (e.g. wine for communion, bride, and groom, musical instruments, etc.) This means that Babylon can be seen as some type of church. 2. Babylon is described as a woman and, according to Ephesians, a woman is a parable of the church. Ephesians 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall be

joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. However, this woman is rather unfaithful to her husband (Christ) and having relationships with the world and idols, than being a faithful church. 3. This woman is closely related to the country of the beast as below. Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. It is inappropriate for the woman to have a relationship with the beast. Once again, as far as we can understand, the country of the beast is the U.S. Therefore, it is reasonable to presume that Babylon represents Christian churches in the U.S. <Why does Babylon get hated by God?> Revelation tells us that Babylon (Christian churches in the U.S) is going to receive tremendous God s wrath and punishment in End Days. Revelation also describes why. Drinking a wine of fornication." The Bible tells us that the reason of God s wrath is as below. Revelation 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: The cup described here is the same as a cup used for communion at the church. Wine is also a parable of Holy Spirit. This means that this Scripture describes God s wrath coming upon the church who is drinking the wine of demons instead of Holy Spirit. The wine of demons brings various

revival phenomenon such as Pensacola Revival, Benny Hinn Ministry, and Rodney Howard Revival. These are not caused by the Sprit of God, but demons. Receiving such spirit is seen as fornication in the eyes of God. Persecution against the righteous Christians." The Bible also prophesizes that the righteous Christians will be under persecution endorsed by Babylon, with some even losing their lives. It is written as below. Revelation 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. As it says here, the blood of martyrs will be seen in the U.S one day. The Saints are someone who are separated from sin and the worldly things. Why are they going to be persecuted? The reason is because Christians in the U.S will stay away more from the Bible and Holy Spirit. As a result, they start to hate the righteous Christians who are the saints. They will punish and kill those who are against abortion, homosexuality, and war. In the U.S, the worldly Christians may sue the righteous Christians in order to put them into death sentence. It is described as below. Matthew 10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Brother is a parable of brothers and sisters in the church, and father is a pastor, as well as children being believers. This section prophesizes that people start to sue each other within the church because of their faith. That is how God s wrath and judgment will come upon Christian churches in the U.S. <Babylon will commit sin like Sodom>

Now, the Bible also prophesizes that Babylon will take part in the sin committed by Sodom and Gomorrah. It is stated as below. Isaiah 13:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. This scripture prophesizes that Babylon will be destroyed just like Sodom and Gomorrah. They were destroyed by the fire, and so is Babylon. This indicates that the reason Babylon gets destroyed is the same as Sodom and Gomorrah; homosexuality. Peter describes the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah as below. 2 Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; This means that the fire comes down from the sky to destroy the cities. This is how Christian churches will be destroyed because of their homosexual sin. <Christian churches in the U.S are becoming more like Sodom> The judgment of the fire against Sodom One of the biggest trends in the U.S at the moment is to accept homosexuality. Both former President Obama and current president Trump are publicly declaring their soft view on LGBT. Obama even declared that homosexuality is legal which means anyone who opposes to it could be potentially seen as breaking the law by a certain group of people. In some cases, some Christians in this country have been arrested because they were against homosexuality. Influenced by this trend, many American Christians have started accepting homosexuality. According to the stats, more than half Christians are believed to accept

homosexuality which is staggering. This indicates that the U.S is rapidly turning into Sodom. <Judgment upon Sodom will be repeated> Sodom and Gomorrah got destroyed by the fire due to their unfaithfulness and sins. It is the historical truth that these cities got destroyed, but this was not just for Sodom. The Bible states that this event was to warn people in the future as described below. 2 Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; Let s take a look at what ensample means. This indicates that anyone who commits the same sin will bring the wrath of God because God will remain fair and just regardless of time and era. Regardless of types of people, town, or country, as long as it commits the same sin as Sodom, it will be destroyed by the fire. The issue we are facing now is that there is a country which doesn t fear this warning of the Bible and dears to adopt homosexuality. The churches in the country also are proactively committing the sin, and they are Christian churches in the U.S. What kind of end result will be waiting for Christian churches in the U.S which head towards homosexuality? It is clearly described in Revelation as Babylon is going to be destroyed by the fire." This is the destination of Christian churches in the U.S. They are rebellious against God, ignoring the warnings of the Bible, and choosing to accept homosexuality. Therefore, they will receive the same punishment as Sodom and Gomorrah. This is what the Bible says through the prophet of Babylon. We should also fear God. <The whole world may be destroyed due to homosexuality>

Now, I would like to continue this topic a bit further. Peter stated that the world would be burnt down in End Times as below. 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. This scripture prophesizes that the day will come when the heavens and earth will be burnt down, like Sodom and Gomorrah. How come such day comes to the world? The answer is found in the scripture below. 2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. It says that the judgment of fire comes because of people s unfaithfulness which is exactly what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah. Again, we can imagine that the world s acceptance of homosexuality is the reason for this. Acceptance of homosexuality which started from the U.S has been spread around the world. Europe is following the movement, and Japan is no exception. This trend will cover the whole world, but we need to know that what will be waiting are the wrath of God and the judgment of fire. However, if the earth and the sun get burnt down, where can we escape to? Peter encourages us to live faithfully as below. 2 Peter 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. Here, Peter is saying to Christians what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness." From this, we can see that even if we are already Christians, when we live unfaithfully or accept homosexuality, we will be destroyed and judged. Therefore, it is important to live righteously instead of believing that Christians will always be saved no matter what. We need to be fearful of God. One day, the earth will be burnt down, and unfaithful people will be destroyed Trend in the U.S about homosexuality (LGBT) by H.F Jesus told us to judge the era. What kind of era is it now then? As we look at some trends in the U.S, we can see that the rights of homosexual people have been insisted recently. Obama administration legalized same-sex marriage and protected homosexual people. New Trump administration also decided to carry on the same policy in January. As I mentioned in my previous article, there are transgender toilets in the U.S which implies that opposing to homosexuality is getting more difficult in the U.S. For example, a cake shop owned by a Christian refused to bake a wedding cake for a same-sex couple. They have been sued and ended up having to pay a large sum of money for compensation. The shop was forced to close. There was the same case in Colorado,

and many wedding venues had to pay compensations due to their refusal to hold the same-sex marriage ceremonies. In 2015, a public servant in Kentucky who refused to issue a marriage certificate to a same-sex couple was arrested. It is seen as illegal to oppose the same-sex marriage. Also, the entertainment industry in the U.S doesn t accept celebrities who are opposed to homosexuality. A celebrity couple who attend the church which is against the same-sex marriage are being accused, and a gospel singer whose anti-homosexuality video was uploaded online has been under harsh criticism. High Lights magazine which targets general youth readers featured 2-page articles about homosexuality. Boy Scouts accept homosexual leaders and even took on girls this year. By the time these children grow older to become adults, homosexuality will be normal, and no one would even care. This is where the U.S is heading right now. The churches in the U.S are the same. Statistic shows that half of Christians in the U.S are said to be tolerant of homosexuality. This year, traditional church in Washington D.C accepted a homosexual couple as co-pastors, and this represents how the government policy is making an influence on the churches. Many other churches around the world also are following this trend. For example, a church in Sweden accepted same-sex marriage, and there are homosexual pastors in Japan as well. We are also influenced by what is happening in the U.S. This was unimaginable a decade ago. I wonder if there was any era in the history when homosexuality was accepted this much. Currently, homosexuality is something to be protected. This seems right since God is love therefore accepting homosexuality appears to be God s will. However, the Bible describes as below. Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination. Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. Judas 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Despite the fact that the Bible says that homosexuality is a sin, churches are starting to accept homosexuality. There is no way that the contents of the Bible have changed. What looks good in human s eye doesn t necessarily good in God s point of view. Humanism appears to be wonderful but not always so. It ignores God s teaching. When you judge from the human s point of view, you will be away from the truth. These days, churches are getting into the human-like thoughts and become against the teaching of God. The churches are becoming worldly and changing their characters. Luke 12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: 12:52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. Jesus said a family gets divided and fights against each other. This must mean the church is a house of God. Right now, churches are divided into two groups based on their approach to homosexuality. Half accept it, and the other half don t. We are going to see separation among churches which relates to homosexuality in the future. 1 Corinthians 11:19 For there must also be heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you. As you can see, separation is permitted to clarify who are the righteous Christians. Many people will accept homosexuality and churches would follow the trend to eventually have the majority of believers accepting homosexuality. On the other hand, anyone who follows the word of God will be accused as an extreme cult and discriminating person.

Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. This must mean what happens within churches. In the future, as many people start accepting homosexuality in churches, anyone who opposes to homosexuality will be kicked out as an anti-social dangerous person. There will be a day when none of the churches will say that homosexuality is a sin. This is when churches become a city called Sodom as described in Revelation. We then have to decide our attitude; whether to follow Jesus or the standard of this world. How do we handle the persecutions? We need to judge correctly by the power of Holy Spirit when a false teacher says confusing words. We should stay away from the trap of humanism which accepts homosexuality.
