THE CHURCH AND SCHOOLS OF SAINT DOMINIC OYSTER BAY, NEW YORK In Saecula Saeculorum Forever and Ever Campaign A CASE FOR SUPPORT

In Saecula Saeculorum Forever and Ever Campaign The Church of Saint Dominic in Oyster Bay announces its capital campaign: In Saecula Saeculorum Forever and Ever Inaugural Campaign Committee: Janine and Fred Assini Helen and Charles Dolan Peggy and Bob Gartland Janeen and Kevin Griffin Rose and John Limongelli Elizabeth McCaul and Frank Ingrassia Robin and Enrique Senior Marianne and Charles Walsh Laura and Paul Woodstock (In formation) For over one hundred and thirty years, The Church of Saint Dominic has served the people of Oyster Bay and the wider community beyond our place on the hill. Indeed, our parishioners and our students bring the foundational mission of our patron, Saint Dominic, to preach the Gospel, to places much farther away from our small peninsula on the North Shore of Long Island. The vision of the In Saecula Saeculorum Campaign is far greater than a restoration of our campus. It is a reawakening to the call of Jesus Christ to renew our commitment to our obligation to evangelize and be missionaries of the Gospel - Forever and Ever. 1

Saint Dominic Church is so grateful for the prayers and generosity of its parishioners, parents, and friends. You participate in enriching our community of faith and enhancing our work both in Oyster Bay and far beyond. We invite you to carefully review this case for support and to prayerfully consider how you may share in our mission of renewal. In Saecula Saeculorum Giving Societies Msgr. With an exciting and generous matching gift of $2,000,000, every person in our parish, schools, and ministries is challenged to participate in this endeavor. Whether you are a longtime or new member of our parish, a new or not-so-new parent of a student in our schools, an alum who lives nearby or far away YOU have a role to play in this campaign. I ask that you take up the mantle of this campaign in these two simple and crucial ways: 1. Make your own personal financial commitment. Do the best within the means that you have been given by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2. Be an ambassador in our journey. Talk about this endeavor with other members of the community with excitement, support, and dedication. The vision of the In Saecula Saeculorum Campaign is far greater than a restoration of our campus and facilities. It is a reawakening to the call of Jesus Christ to renew our commitment to our obligation to evangelize and be missionaries of the Gospel - Forever and Ever. Please take a moment to review the following pages carefully. Then prayerfully consider how you may participate in this parish fundraising campaign of renewal. With gratitude and blessings, Reverend Kevin M. Smith Pastor 3
