In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate An introduction of Jama'ats administration and structure After the Prophet's death Allah the Almighty initiates Caliphate, I-e., Prophet's successor, who continues to take the prophet s goals forward. Caliphs are mandated to consult their supporters on every important issue, but are not bound to follow the suggestions but according to the Holy Quran, they should act according to their heart when God Himself guides them. Jama'at (community) is structured accordingly: 1. Calipha is the starting point for Jama'ats system, which has complete authority. 2. Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya is an agency under the Caliph who does Jama'ats affairs, and it is divided into different departments headed by respective Nazir. 3. Majlis Mushawarat is an advisory body with the Sadr Anjuman. This council is convened once a year, and has a direct connection to the Caliph. 4. Local Jama ats wherever Ahmadi Muslims are living (country, town or city). From an administrative point of view, they are part of Sadr Anjuman s administration. The head of a country is called the National Amir. Both the National Amir and National Amila (Board Committee) is appointed by the Shura, with Khalifatul Masih permission. It is appointed for a period of 3 years. Ahmadiyya Jama'ats economic system: Each Ahmadi Muslim provides a monthly share of their income, according to his/her ability, to the Jama'at. This is called Chanda. There are several different types of Chanda. The financial year of the Jama'at begins July 1 and ends June 30. Chanda A'am: This chanda is obligatory for every Ahmadi with income. Its sum is 1/16 of the income (6.25%). Chanda Wasiyyat: This chanda is mandatory for Musian (those who joined the spiritual system of Wasiyyat). They can pay 1/10 to 1/3 of their income. A musi also gives the same share of their property in Sadr Anjumans name. Chanda Jalsa Salana: This chanda is calculated at 1/120 of annual income. Voluntary Chanda: There are no set amounts for these, but Jama'ats members give according to ability. Among these are Tehrik-e Jadid, Waqf-e Jadid, Sayyidina Bilal Fund, MTA, Yatama Fund, Maryam Shadi Fund etc.

Tehrik Waqf-e Nau: Hazrat Khalifatul Masih the fourth (Rahemahullah - may Allah show him His mercy) announced this blessed Tehrik (project, system) April 3, 1987 in Baitul Fazl Mosque, London. Regarding its aim, he said: "... I start this project (Tehrik) so that a grand army of Waqfin-e-Nau can be prepared in the whole world, and so that those can enter into the new century in the service of the Holy Prophet Muhammad s (peace and blessings be upon Him) God. We offer our small children as a gift, service of the God. This is a huge need for this time, since over the next hundred years, the spread of Islam that will be experienced, will require hundreds of thousands of trained servants... it needs waqfin (those who devoted his life to Islam) of all categories; from all countries... In Ahmadiyyat s coming century, there is a huge need of Waqfin... God has brought to my attention that I should inform the members (of Jama'at) that they should commit itself to whoever has a child in coming two years to make this child a Waqfe Nau. "(Khutba Jumuah April 1987, Baitul Fazl, London) Initially this project was for two years. But at the request of many members, this period was extended by a further two years. Since this became an ongoing project. Initially called Huzur (rh) 5000 children for this, but with God's grace Jama'at managed to surpass this figure. In order to give these children special education and training and also guidance, Huzur(rh) established a special ministry in the Tehrik-e-Jadid Ahmadiyya named Wakalat Waqfe Nau. In each Jama'at added a secretary Waqfe Nau for this. The establishment of Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya: Hadhrat Musleh Maud (Razi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu - may Allah be pleased with him) established the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya 31st January 1938. From the beginning of his tenure as Khalifa, Huzur (RZ) directed great attention to organizing and educating young people. Through Huzurs (RZ) personal leadership Jama'at got many capable members through Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya. Some of this organization's prominent activities include: 1. Khidmat-e-Khalq: that every Khadim genuinely serve his nation and his people, and he should also inspire other Khuddam to do this. 2. To persuade and practically train others, to the realization, that man can do all works, and to work with your hands is respectable. 3. Ensuring to educate the uneducated members of the Jama'at, so that they achieve at least the basic education. Hadhrat Musleh Maud (rz) established the following motto for Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya: Nations cannot be reformed without their youth s reformation. Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya s systems:

Membership: Required for each Ahmadi Muslim between 15 and 40 years. Every single member is called Khadim. Association (majlis): Each city with more than one Khadim, or a Khadim and 2 atfal, should establish their own association / majlis. Hizb: In each Majlis members get divided in ten each. Over the appointment of a responsible person (Saiq), so you can more easily keep in touch with Khuddam. This system forms the backbone of a majlis. Departments: The work that Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya performs is divided into the following departments: 1. Etimad (Secretary) 2. Tajnid (census) 3. Tarbiyyat (spiritual and moral upbringing) 4. Tabligh (propagation of the teachings of Islam) 5. Talim (Education) 6. Khidmat-e-Khalq (humanitarian) 7. Maal (economy) 8. Tehrik-e-Jadid (supervised by chanda for Tehrik-e-Jadid) 9. Waqar-e-Amal (service and maintenance of Jama'ats estates) 10. Sanat o Tijarat (professional training and guidance) 11. Sehat-e-Jismani (Health and Sport) 12. Isha'at (Press and Publication) 13. Atfal (supervision of the children's education and upbringing) 14. Muhasiba (accountant) 15. Umoor e-tulaba (Students affairs) 16. Umoomi (security) Officers (Ohdedaraan) in Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya: Sadr Majlis (Chair): The chief supervisor of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya and Atfal Majlis-ul-Ahmadiyya. He is appointed with the approval of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih. To assist Sadr, there exists an Amila (executive committee) at headquarters (Markaz). Each member of Amila is called muhtamim. Sadr

appoints members of his Amila and get the names approved by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih. A Sadr is appointed for a period of two years. Before Sadr reaches the age of 40, he can be appointed for a maximum of three periods in a row. Qaid Majlis: called the leader of each local majlis. He is appointed by the election and approval of Sadr Majlis. A Qaid is appointed for a period of two years, and one Qaid can be appointed maximum two times. Each Qaid has a local Amila for his help. Members of this Amila are called Nazimin. Each Nazim is responsible for his department. Each Qaid is responsible for sending monthly report of its local Majlis to Sadr Majlis. Saiq: called the supervisor for each Hizb. He is responsible, according to their local Qaids instructions, to keep in touch with each Khadim of his Hizb, and try to make programs of the various departments (Shoba Jaat) successful. The financial system of the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya: The financial year of the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya begins November 1 and ends on October 31st. Chanda (membership) is to fund various programs and events. For income holders the fee is 1% of income, while a reduced fee applies to students. According to Hazrat Khalifatul Masih's approval in Sweden it is 50 SEK for Khuddam with income upto 4000 per month and 80 SEK for those with higher than this. Chanda Ijtima: in Sweden is at SEK 100 / year, which is paid before Ijtima. EHD (ed) for Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya: (Available on mkasverige.org) The establishment of Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya: Hadhrat Musleh Maud (rz) announced the establishment of the organization (Tanzim) Atfal-ul- Ahmadiyya for the first time in a speech Friday April 15, 1938, in Baitul Aqsa mosque (Qadian). He said: "The age of learning of habits is childhood, and the age of knowledge is youth. Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya should therefore also open such a branch where children from 5-6 years to 15-16 years can be with... Anyway, children should have its own branch. Young Ahmadis in all places should be in addition to its participation in Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya also establish Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya for children between 7-15 years. " By Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya began Hadhrat Musleh Maud (rz) work to develop children's moral, physical, mental and knowledge league levels. Although Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya is part of Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, they are independent in arranging their programs. Organisation (Tanzim) for Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya:

At each location with more than two children between 7-15 years should establish Majlis Atfal-ul- Ahmadiyya. A member of this organization is called Tifl. Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya works under the supervision of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya. However, separate works plan is made foratfal-ul-ahmadiyya. In each Majlis Nazim Atfal should be designated. In addition, an older person from the Ansar or Khuddam should be appointed as Murabbi Atfal, which according to the work plan monitors Atfals work. The work of the Majlis Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya is divided into different departments, and the following officers are appointed from Atfal for this: 1. Secretary of Umomi 2. Secretary of Tajnid 3. Secretary of Tarbiyyat 4. Secretary of Talim 5. Secretary of Maal 6. Secretary of Waqf-e-Jadid 7. The Secretary of Waqar-e-Amal 8. Secretary of Sehet e-jismani 9. Secretary of Khidmat-e-Khalq 10. Secretary of Sanat-o-Tijarat 11. The Secretary of Isha'at As in Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya is also the system of Saiq and Hizb important in Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya.
