Yet I, like a trusting lamb led to slaughter, had not realized that they were hatching plots against me. R. But You, o Lord of hosts, o just Judge, searcher of mind and heart, let me witness the vengeance You take on them, for to You I have entrusted my cause! V. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, R. As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen. ENTRANCE HYMN Morning Hymn PNCC Hymnal, p. 195 1. Lord, this morn we raise our voices As the world in song rejoices. All the works of Your creation Join to sing in admiration. 2. You have formed us, God our Savior, Overwhelmed us with Your favor. Blessed with gifts beyond all measure, May we praise You now and ever. I Reading: Wisdom 2:12.17-20 The righteous person is characterized by gentleness and patience, but is constantly challenged and persecuted by the godless.

GRADUAL (1 Peter 4:13-14) V. But rejoice to the extent that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that when His glory is revealed you may also rejoice exultantly. R. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. II Reading: James 3:16 4:3 True Christian wisdom is dedicated to serving others and working for peace. The writer urges us to pursue wisdom rather than fame and wealth. ALLELUIA (1 Peter 3:18a) V. How her hands had served our Savior, Who this world had made. (Lo, the greatness of His glory, Mary's Son, our Lord.) 3. As His Mother He did love her, honored every word, (In obedience to her guidance, though He was her Lord.) COMMUNION HYMN Here I Am Lord 1. I, the Lord of the sea and sky, I have heard my people cry. All who dwell dark and sin my hand will save. I who made the stars of night, I will make their darkness bright. Who will bear my light to them? Whom shall I send? Refrain: Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord? I have heard you calling in the night. I will go, Lord, if you lead me. I will hold your people in my heart. 2. I, the Lord of snow and rain, I have borne my people s sin pain. I have wept for love of them. They turn away. I will break their hearts of stone, give them hearts for love alone. I will speak my word to them. Whom shall I send? Refrain: 3. I, the Lord of wind and flame, I will tend the poor and lame, I will set a feast for them. My hand will save. Finest bread I will provide. Till their hearts be satisfied. I will give my life to them. Whom shall I send? Refrain: RECESSIONAL HYMN Tyle Lat PNCC Hymnal, p. 2 Tyle lat my Ci, o Panie, Służbę wierną wypełniali, Szli ku słońcu, w świt zaranie, Łańcuch niewoli targali, Łańcuch niewoli targali.
