ANNUAL REPORT FISCAL YEAR 2017

MESSAGE FROM THE CEO The earth is the LORD s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. PSALM 24:1 As I contemplate the greatness of His majesty, I am humbled by the fact that God has entrusted us with so much. When I look at what God has blessed us with, it reaffirms that everything we have ultimately belongs to Him. We are mere mortals empowered by the Holy Spirit to further the Kingdom of God and that is an incredible responsibility, and one I don t take lightly. Here at Christian Care Ministry, we have the honor and privilege of managing this organization to serve as a tool to equip and connect His people, financially, physically and spiritually. Financially, our Members are able to be good stewards of what God has given them by using Medi- Share for their healthcare. As healthcare costs continue to rise, our members often report saving half of what they were paying for traditional insurance. But it s more than just savings. Our members appreciate that their share dollars are helping fellow Christians during their time of need. It s a small way to have a big impact on God s Kingdom. We also provide tools and resources, as well as incentives, to help our members achieve and maintain good health. This helps to keep share prices low and more importantly, those in good health can do more to serve their community for the Lord. Lastly, we consider it a privilege to minister to our members. It is an honor for our staff to pray for our members, as well as each other. In the last year, we began a new live, online program featuring special guests who inspire us weekly through sermons, worship and great discussions. Our members are invited to join us for these live Friends Sharing Friends sessions on Wednesday mornings or to watch at a later time at mychristiancare.org/tv. As our membership continues to grow, so does our responsibility to impact the Kingdom. I pray that as you realize savings from your Medi-Share membership, you will continue to consider how to turn those savings into a blessing for another individual, ministry or other non-profit. Consider how God is empowering you to fulfill your God-directed role in the Kingdom. Please know that I am praying for your health, your families and your ministries. God bless you for all that you do for His Kingdom! In Christ, TED SQUIRES CEO of Christian Care Ministry OUR MISSION is to connect and equip Christians to share their lives, faith, talents and resources with others. OUR VISION is to be an authentic Christian community that reflects the love of Christ.

MEDI-SHARE MEMBER STORIES When you hear you have cancer or a difficult situation, it s not just emotionally and spiritually devastating in every way. Then there s the financial burden that comes into a healthcare system that, at times, has been a mess. When I was first diagnosed, [Christian Care Ministry] walked us through it. Through God, praying partners, and Medi-Share, by Nov. 10, 2015, even the medical professionals at the medical center in Houston were amazed and said, We can t find any evidence of disease. Every time I called, the calls never ended unless they offered to pray for me. We are still walking in remission, or as we know it, are cancer-free, because of the Lord. So, we thank God for His intervention, for the Great Physician, for all the praying people, and for Medi-Share standing with us and taking that big burden. Every time I called, the calls never ended unless they offered to pray for me. And who turns down prayer? I think an important factor is that it wasn t an assignment. I could tell that each person that prayed with me was praying a heartfelt prayer that I know touched the heart of God. And it touched my heart. I remember crying with people, and that was a priceless experience. Doug Stringer If it wasn t for Manna we would have lost all. The weekly donations meant everything to our family. But it wasn t just the money. The cards and encouragement that I received from all over the country were amazing. During some of my darkest days after my first surgery and the doctors telling me I needed a second, the letters, cards, emails and prayers sustained more than anyone could know! I am so thankful for the Manna community! God bless. Alan A. I am 34 years old and I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in July 2017. I have a wonderful husband and 3 precious daughters! I am truly thankful for Medi-Share and each and every member who contributes monthly to sharing everyone s medical bills. It truly has blessed our lives and my family is eternally grateful. I received my first CT scan results in September and already some tumors were gone while the others left are already half of their original size. My doctor knows it s a miracle as well as everyone around us. Thank you to everyone who is sharing and making a difference in the lives of others. This ministry is blessed and I am proud to be a part of it! Jessica P.
