Two conferences are held every year in July and take place on the campus of Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. REGISTRATION INFORMATION TO REGISTER: Please Visit: www.steubystl.com/registration Registration Opens: February, 8th at 10AM CST JOIN OUR MAILING LIST: To be added to the Steubenville STL Mid-America e-mail list, please send your address to: amyeschelbach@archstl.org PRICING OPTIONS CAMPUS: $190* (Accommodations Included) HOTEL: $150* (No Accommodations Included) *Cost is per person. Both options include programming and meal plans. See page 3 for additional information.

CONFERENCE INFORMATION GROUPS All participants must register and attend the conference with a group. Groups are defined as one adult leader with one or more youth participants. No single registrations will be accepted. THE GROUP LEADER The Group Leader is the individual organizing the trip for their group or parish. The Group Leader must be 21 years old and attending the conference weekend. All correspondence and planning prior to the conference will take place between this individual and the Office of Youth Ministry. PARTICIPANT CATEGORIES Chaperone: Chaperones must be 21 years of age and in compliance with their home Diocesan Child Protection Policies. (It is the responsibility of the Group Leader to ensure that all chaperones are in compliance). Chaperones should be prepared and able to walk long distances across campus, handle loud music in the sessions and keep up with active youth. The Office of Youth Ministry requires 1 chaperone for every 8 youth, per gender. Please call our Office with any questions about numbers. Priests: We encourage all groups to invite your parish priest to attend. Any priest who attends and is willing to hear confessions will be admitted to the conference for FREE. We coordinate priest housing and house all priests off campus in a nearby hotel. Priests must register online with your group and submit a Certificate of Aptitude to the Office of Youth Ministry. Young Adults: Individuals who are between the ages of 18 and 21 and past the summer after their senior year of high school. Teen Participants: Participants may range from incoming freshman (entering 9th grade in August of 2018) through graduated seniors (graduated in May of 2018.) Younger Children: With the best care of the teen participants in mind, children and infants are not allowed. All Group Leaders and Chaperones must be made aware of this policy. Although we strongly support Catholic family life, our staffing, facility constraints, and insurance regulations do not allow us to provide for children and infants on the campus. MEALS On-Campus groups will be provided with Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast. Off-Campus groups will be provided with Friday dinner and Saturday lunch and dinner. Sack lunches for Sunday will be available for all groups at an additional cost. SPECIAL NEEDS Please inform our Office as soon as possible if an individual in your group may have any special needs. The sooner we are aware, the better we may be able to accommodate your needs. F R A N C I S C A N LEAD LEADERSHIP, EVANGELIZATION & DISCIPLESHIP The Franciscan LEAD program is a five-day, Christ-centered, sacrament-soaked, prayer fueled immersion in Catholic teachings on leadership, evangelization, and discipleship inspired by the life and witness of St. Francis of Assisi. Our leadership philosophy is based on the foundation that youth leadership flows from a personal relationship with Christ. Therefore, we first give teens the tools to grow closer in their relationship with Jesus and then give them the essentials for servant leadership and evangelization. DATES: Monday, July 9th through Friday, July 13th, & Monday, July 16th through Friday, July 20th Youth can apply to participate in Franciscan LEAD for the summer after their freshman year in high school through the summer after their senior year in high school. Applicants must be a registered conference participant at one of the Steubenville Youth Conferences this summer. We are looking for youth who: Love Jesus and His Church Are ready to take their Catholic faith to the next level Want to learn how to share their love of Christ with friends and classmates Want to go deeper in prayer Want to inspire others to answer Christ s radical call to love and serve Application packets for the LEAD program will be sent to all group leaders following Group Registration.
