MARK 1:21-28

FRANGELISM Andrew, Simon Peter s brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, We have found the Messiah (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas (which, when translated, is Peter). John 1:40-42 Join us in being obedient to the Great Commission by sharing your faith with 5 Friends, Relatives, Associates & Neighbors each week who are Unsaved, Unsure, or Unchurched. Invite them to be with you in Worship, Wednesday in the Word, or Church School. Our prayer is that they will come to know Jesus and commit to following Him daily. Saint Paul A M E Church Online Giving Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Justice Ministry News Thank you Justice Ministry members and others of St. Paul who attended the Meeting with Sheriff Mike Williams this past Tuesday at Greater Grant. 132 persons were there and St. Paul had 27 present. The purpose of this meeting was to support the members of the Jacksonville Re-Entry Center committee, which includes our own Queen Williams, to find Out the Sheriff s plan to re-place the over $600,000.00 of the State Grant that had to be returned, because the funds was not used in a timely Manner. Well, guess what? He does not have a plan and does not know if the Money will be replaced. The Re-Entry Center had to turn away hundreds of Ex-Offenders because of the lack of Personnel to handle all of the cases coming in. When the money was sent back, those new employees that was Hired, had to be fired. The committee will continue to pressure the Sheriff For the needed funding for the Re-Entry Center and the Ex-Offenders who need this assistance to get back on their feet. We will keep you up-dated on the progress. The Sheriff did agree to attend the Rally in March and the Nehemiah Assembly in April. Thank you St. Paul for your support of this unique Ministry that allows us to Go out into the City, our neighborhoods and communities to make a difference In the lives of those that are least among us. Doing Justice takes commitment. Geneva Pittman, Coordinator, Queen Williams and Ann White, Team Leaders. The Ministry believes that your One Word has proven to be helpful in 2017. We now ask you to prayerfully seek your One Word for 2018
