Let s begin by praying for ourselves: God show us our needs and weaknesses so thoroughly that we would become desperate in our seeking and dependency upon Him. For a new awareness of God s holiness and our need to be holy even as He is holy. For God to convict us of every area of sin so that we might be led into the holiness of Jesus- including excessive materialism deliver us from its power. God, give us the fortitude and resolve to reorganize our lifestyles so that we can better respond to the call of the Lord for this urgent hour For God to give us a fresh sense of God s love for the world-- rekindle our love for Him That God would give us a new heart of love -- that God move us to seek Him until we are willing to take the whole world into our hearts. That God would give us a spirit of surrender within the church to do whatever God calls us to do at whatever price. That God would bring reconciliation to the people of God where there have been major rifts and divisions in the Body of Christ let there be transparency, repentance, forgiveness and healing. That God would heal those divisions giving the greater credibility to the Church as the world observes How we love one another. Forgive us of our immaturities and selfish demands that drain our pastor s energies and divert his vision for worldwide revival. Jesus, help us to choose the best over the good; help us to repent of everything that prevents us from following Jesus Christ without limits even into all the world including our sin, our unbelief, our preoccupation with self-centeredness and self-serving. Forgive us for the times we have chosen our will and not Your will. That God would overrule all internal barriers within the church that hinder the advancement of the Apostles message break all the rifts, cliques, division, divisive and abrasive personalities, all resentment and unforgiveness.
A. O God, in the Name of Jesus Christ, bring a worldwide awakening, a global awareness to the truth of the Apostles. You have declared that in the last days old men would dream dreams and young would see visions. Let this happen, Jesus! Give men and women and youth the revelation of who You really are. They have relegated You to be one of a divine triumvirate. Reveal the truth of One God to Seminarians University professors Pastors and teachers in their private study and well-known pastors Presbyters and district officers of various religious bodies Denominational leaders and overseers and superintendents. Sunday School teachers and prayer leaders Reveal the truth of proper New Testament water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit to the denominations and the nations. Shake the religious denominations and other church organizations from their dogmas and preconceived ideas so that the Truth may impact their people. B. Raise up pioneers of faith to lead the church to embrace the new things that God wanted to do through this generation. Raise up powerful men, women, and youth to impact our society with Truth just as the Apostles filled Jerusalem with their doctrine. Let these firebrands bring revival to their families, churches, and communities. Let these men and women and youth with great power give witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Grant that signs and miracles and wonders follow. These that the Truth they preach may be validated. Break every barrier that has thwarted and prohibited the growth of the Apostolic Church. Break every negative publicity that the enemy has tried to use to defame, slander, degenerate, and disparage the Truth of the Apostles. Use his own tactics against the enemy. C. Open great and effectual doors for these powerful men and women and youth.
Lead them to very influential persons, government officials and key persons. Lead us to key individuals who are influential over large groups of people. There are more Apostle Pauls out there today in today s world committing blasphemy who are yet to be converted. in the sports world in the world of finance in the political arena in the world of academia and university level in the music industry (rock musicians wield a heavy influence over the youth of the world MTV) in the movie industry (Hollywood) in the corporate level (pray that corporate philanthropy would benefit the local church, missions and the corporate Body of Christ. D.
