Page 4 Trinity Tidings Be sure to check out the Shehee Family Update! The link is provided below, or you can link to it directly from your Tidings email! It s well worth a look to see just how much this precious missionary family has done and continues to do in Tororo, Uganda! Call Wendy at Trinity (850) 432-3505 to find out how you can subscribe to their newsletters and help them in this important ministry! http://us3.campaign-archive2.com/?u=08ff896ace6154c1f630b65c1&id=4f4b89ab11 Thank you for your prayers. I had good news from my doctor. As of now I am cancer free, but will have to be tested for cancer again in three months. God answers our prayers. My faith and trust in the Lord is great and I know his goodness never fails, and I am happy to have a few more months or years to spend with my family, and friends. In Christian love, Marianne Fortuna Thank you so much for your donation of 211 pounds of food on 7-19- 17. Because of your generosity, we are able to provide nutritional food assistance to those in need. Your support will make a difference in the lives of the people we serve and is appreciated. Annie Gray, Outreach and Marketing Manager, Manna Food Bank of Pensacola, Florida Thank you so much for keeping me in prayer. After chemo was completed, the cancer began growing rapidly. My body has apparently developed an immunity to it. But, I m very encouraged because my CT scan was clear and a PET scan revealed only one spot. So after chemo, I may be a candidate for laser surgery, a type of radiation that hits the tumor from many different angles, killing the cancer, but not harming other tissue. A friend had this treatment and is cancer free. I am very hopeful! Thank you once again for your faithful prayers. In Christ, Lynda Jewett Dear Praying Friends, Thank you for each of the prayer cards since my fall! God bless each of you in your service to Him! What a loving ministry! Thank you also for your wonderful and consistent remembrance of Branson and prayers for his recovery from the October, 2016 auto accident. I am thrilled to say that the serious hand nerve damage continues to improve. Also, in my first phone call from Branson after the accident he said, Mom-Mom, I got my prayer card from Trinity today! What a beautiful thing for a 17 year old to be eager to say! Regarding my injuries from the fall, they have healed well and I believe your love and prayers are a large part of my healing. God s blessings always, Love, Ruth White Dear Friends, Thank you to the prayer group for the card for my brother-in-law, Carl Enck. He had a scan and the tumors have been eradicated! Power of prayer is what my sister-in-law said and they appreciated the kind card. He is not out of the woods yet. He has fluid in his lungs and it is malignant so prayers need to continue and I would like to keep him on the prayer list. Page 6 Trinity Tidings SUPPER CLUB SIGN - UP! Back by popular demand Supper Clubs are forming now to meet for the following year starting in October. Supper Clubs are small groups meeting for food, fun and fellowship. Anyone can join couples, singles, young or old. The dinner groups will have 6-8 people assigned whenever possible to allow the host-hostess for the month to invite additional people (perhaps new church members, prospective members or anyone who would enjoy the fun). This is a great way to broaden our friendships and connect with others in our church family! For those of you who participated in years past, the names will sound familiar: DINING IN are in-home Groups where the host/hostess rotate monthly and usually provide the main course and beverage. Others attending bring side dishes and dessert. DUTCH TREAT Groups rotate host/hostess choosing his/her favorite restaurant for the month. Each person is responsible for his/her own check. OUT-TO-LUNCH BUNCH Groups operate like the Dutch Treat Groups, rotating between host s favorite lunch eateries. You may join one or all of these Groups! Once Supper Clubs are formed, each individual Group picks their own most convenient week and day to meet each month. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Please check your preference~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I/We would like to join a DINING IN Group. Please join us on the journey through grief in a Beyond the Broken Heart support group to share loneliness of your grief.
