Lucy Archambult made a mtin t apprved the minutes as amended, Karen Hyde secnded the mtin. The minutes were apprved as amended. Current Spending Jim Kruger presented the current spending situatin in the absence f Diana Lewis, Treasurer. Revenue exceeds expenses by $49,277 at the end f Octber. This is unusual, and is the result f nt having expenses assciated with a full-time pastr this year. General giving is dwn abut $3,400 frm last year, and verall incme is dwn due t N Raise the Rf campaign this year A new lease was negtiated fr the Verizn cell twer; the ld lease prvided a lump sum payment f $10,000 in July, and the new lease prvides an annual lease payment f $20,000, payable mnthly. Will see the full impact in 2016, and in the end f year results. There will be a bit f a psitive impact at the end f the year when expense items will be transferred against funds in the designated accunts. Jim nted the annual budget percentage in the far right clumn wuld be 83% n a straight-line basis. There were questins n the balance in the Raise the Rf fund and if we were spending it r waiting n the rf replacement. The balance is $20,415 per the balance sheet, and sme is being spent - with the rains this week, sme repairs are needed. Otherwise, Prperty is waiting t refinance the mrtgage. The current plan is t chse a mre ecnmical 20 year rf, instead f a lnger term rf, s the cst will be abut $120,000 instead f the riginal estimate f $260,000. It will have a 20 year uncnditinal warranty, as lng as we ntify the cmpany right away when it leaks. It will be an EPDM rf, and will cver the ffice area, preschl, and the suth classrms, and the wrk will start in December. 12

The Preschl reprt at the end f Octber shws expenses exceeding revenue by $1,252, much better than last year at this time. Marleta Andersn and her team and the Preschl Bard have been practive in reducing the deficit. Dave Ericsn asked abut the subscriptin fr The Lutheran fr members, as he had received a renewal ntice. It is paid by the church. Kathy Ferdig reprted the invice was n her desk, and t call her with any questins. Presentatin f Preliminary Budget fr 2016 Jim Kruger presented the preliminary budget fr 2016. There is n actin at this time; meetings will held in December and January fr cngregatin members t have input. The preliminary budget is based n input frm the Cmmittees. The budget will be revised based n input and year-end results, and the gal is t present a balanced budget fr apprval at the cngregatinal meeting in February. The preliminary budget includes an anticipated 1% increase in member fferings, and shws expenses ver prjected revenue f $5,000, but the new cell twer incme shuld be arund $7,000. Jim went ver increases in sme f the brad categries - salaries and benefits up $12,000, Prperty up $9,500, and the mrtgage up $4,500 t cver the refinancing t repair the rf. Denise Winn asked why last year s $5,000 budget item fr a yuth directr was zered ut and culd it be restred. It is still under cnsideratin, the timing may nt be right, but it will prbably be put back int the budget. Pastr Russ mentined there are usually three subteams during transitin - Histry, Missin/Visin, and Staffing - and their wrk will shw where Gd is leading us. The yuth directr psitin culd be an actin this year. Marleta and the Bard have wrked hard t manage the Preschl Budget. She has als vlunteered t versee vacatin bible schl next summer, at n additinal cst, with the help f church member vlunteers. Discussins are just beginning, but the plan is t ffer VBS at a small r n charge, t attract mre children. VBS is nw shwn under Outreach in the budget. Crish Tippit asked abut expenses fr the Transitin Team, and asked t have it added as a categry. Priscilla Brwer asked where the website budget was lcated, and hw it was being managed. It is under Telephne, under Utilities. Jim Brwn reprted that Erica Mrgan had updated the website, and we are in the prcess f hiring a prfessinal webmaster t redesign the site; we need scial media t cnnect t the cmmunity. The new jb share administratr has cnsiderable experience, and fr the near term we may assign the website and Facebk sites t her. Glria Valdez asked why the Sunday Schl budget declined. The budget is based n numbers frm the Educatin Cmmittee and what has been spent s far in 2015. 13

Affirmatin f Vte n Amendment t Cnflict f Interest Bylaw Affirmatin f vte n February 22, 2015, t change Bylaw C12.08.03 n cnflict f interest fr emplyee family members. The amendment was apprved in February, but was inadvertently brught again t the May cngregatin meeting, where a questin arse as t prper ntice f the amendment. In an effrt t be transparent, cngregatin infrmatin meetings were held n Nvember 15th, and an affirmatin f the February vte is being brught t the cngregatin. Amendment was changed t allw family members f part-time emplyees t serve n Cngregatin Cuncil, with apprpriate recusals, and t update the definitin f family members t include dmestic partners. Dave Ericsn made a mtin t affirm, Lucy Archambult secnded the mtin Denise Winn asked why the difference between full and part time emplyees. Currently all family members are excluded; allwing family members f part time emplyees allws mre peple t participate. Mel Bentz nted the vte was n the current amendment, that ther changes culd be brught t Cuncil at a future date. This amendment addresses a prblem that arse earlier in the year. Priscilla Brwer requested that any vte be dne by ballt, as sme did nt feel cmfrtable vting publicly. Jim Brwn stated this was necessary as it was an affirmatin. She als questined whether Cuncil members shuld be tellers; Jim respnded that the Cuncil was elected by the cngregatin and had a certain level f trust within the cngregatin. The vte was called and the mtin t affirm was passed - 77 fr, 3 against, and 5 abstaining. Electin f the Nminating Cmmittee There was a call fr nminatins frm the flr fr the electin f three members f the nminating cmmittee; there were n flr nminatins. The slate f Janice Larsn, Dennis Milks, and Cecelia Pepper was presented fr vte, by mtin f Mel Bentz and secnd by Henry Hautz. The mtin carried with n ppsed r abstaining and the slate was elected. Intrductin and Cmmissining f Transitin Team Pastr Russ intrduced the Transitin Team and held a cmmissining ceremny. The team members are Matthew Ferdig, Tm Hyde, Jan Jastram, Judy Messal, Barbara Willman, Bryce Willman, Jeff Yingling and Shelby Yingling. Pastr Russ reprted the team has already started meeting and reviewing materials and steps, and will be meeting weekly. They are asking fr the cngregatin s help and prayers. Overview f the Transitin Prcess Pastr Russ prvided an verview f the transitin prcess. He passed ut a Transitin Tracker chart that listed the Transitin Team tasks, the tasks during the Transitin Phase, and the tasks during the Call Phase. This transitin prcess prvides mre time fr discernment than previus prcesses. He talked abut his calling fr this wrk; this is his third interim psitin in just ver three years. 14

The Transitin Team will wrk cperatively with the Cuncil and the cnstitutin subcmmittee, and they will be reprting mnthly, and eventually weekly. They will be helped by the wrk f peple and cmmittees - raise yur hand, r call the Transitin Team, Pastr Russ r the Cuncil if yu wuld like t help with the tasks. The Transitin Team will gather tgether all that has happened; we dn t have t start frm scratch. Why des it take s lng - it take as lng as it takes. It s srt f like getting married - if yu take the time t talk tgether and listen t each ther and knw each ther the fur seasns f the year, it will be better - nging and life-giving, if the wrk is dne at the beginning. We are a different cngregatin that with Pastr Phil, and are still ding sme natural grieving. We dn t have t wait fr a new Pastr t take n new ventures r ministries - Gd s spirit is at wrk and alive here nw. Are we ready fr the adventure? Cngregatin respnded Yes! Open Discussin It was requested that the pages f the handuts be numbered next time. Randine Hughes reprted she had the last f the Lutheran Campus Ministry raffle tickets available. Clsing Devtin The meeting was clsed with the Lrd s Prayer, said in unisn. Adjurnment A mtin t adjurn was made by Steve Reil, and secnded by Denise Winn. The meeting was adjurned at 11:21 AM. Respectfully submitted, Nanette Mrtn Cngregatin Secretary 15

Annual Reprt f Pastr Russ Srensen What is Gd Ding Thrugh Us? Once in a while I get asked the questin Hw are We Ding? All Saint s Transitin Team, Staff and Cuncil leadership are als asking that questin. It is a natural part f the prcess f building a slid fundatin fr the future. Althugh it is a great questin t begin the cnversatin, perhaps a greater questin is What is Gd Ding Thrugh us? When we phrase it that way, we are really pening urselves up t the surprising way Gd wrks in ur wrld and ur lives. My prayer is that we keep paying attentin t the Faith Cnnectins f Gd s presence in each day. The mre we ntice, the mre we are called t get n bard with sharing the gd news f Gd s lve with thers and with ur cmmunity. In Jhn 13:34-35 we hear Jesus saying, A new cmmandment I give yu: Lve ne anther. As I have lved yu, s yu als must lve ne anther. By this all peple will knw that yu are my disciples, if yu lve ne anther. The challenge is t let the light f Christ shine in everything every day! a big jb especially if we think it is smething that we just d n ur wn. That new cmmandment f lve fr ne anther is a driving frce fr missin and ministry, empwered by the wrk f the Spirit! S, hw d I see the lve f Gd wrking in the ministry and relatinships f All Saints Lutheran Church and Preschl? I ffer sme bservatins, after being here just a little ver three mnths. Gd is at wrk in a variety f ways thrugh the peple and ministry f All Saints. It is exciting t see and t participate in that missin! I will give a cuple f examples. First f all, Gd is engaging us in Wrd and Sacrament as we sing tgether and we dig int the Wrd in wrship! Gd strengthens ur faith. I ntice Gd at wrk thrugh the variety f services at All Saints. Why nt designate this Lent and Easter seasn as a time t be renewed in wrship and invite a new friend t cme with yu? I am planning a time fr a Welcme t All Saints series after Easter. As peple experience the wrship and fellwship life at All Saints they will discver mre faith cnnectins fr missin and ministry here and in ur cmmunity. We can always grw in ur invlvement in wrship, leadership in ministry and use f ur time, talents and treasures. We are called t feed all ages f flks wh are hungry in spirit. I als encurage all ages t get invlved in Gd s Wrd thrugh devtin, prayer and study. Crss-generatinal effrts t listen t each ther and take faith hme are great gifts! Getting t knw yu Thank yu t all wh are making the extra effrt t welcme Cheri and me. The nametags and yur gracius hspitality help us feel at hme here. I als ntice peple f All Saints wh are reaching ut t thers wh are finding their way t All Saints. Yu are building bridges t the future thrugh yur acts f caring. These are definitely times f healing fr yu all after many mnths f dealing with uncertainty abut the future. I am als gradually making cnnectins with a variety f peple and listening t yur stries f ministry tgether. The wnderful thing I have nticed is that yu cntinue t stay strng in the faith that Gd is gd. Yu are building n the cnfidence that Gd is leading yu int a wnderful and faith filled future. There are certainly adjustments alng the way as we engage in the hly wrk f listening t Gd, t each ther and t ur cmmunity. We are encuraged in ur partnership in ministry by the assurance that there is nthing that can separate us frm the lve f Gd thrugh Christ Jesus! This is real and imprtant wrk tgether! 16

The cntext fr ding missin and ministry cntinues t change as we seek t fllw the great cmmissin f Jesus t make disciples f all natins and lve ne anther in these days! Ultimately, the hard wrk and prayer f the Transitin Team will be expressed in All Saints Ministry Site Prfile. Great Team Ministry is where all f the best gifts f Gd can cme tgether in creative ways t share the gd news f Jesus Christ in all that we d! Children's Chapel - This year we cmbined all the children, Kindergarten thru sixth grade, int ne classrm due t the small number f children we have. With all seven grades we average abut six children n any given Sunday. Smetimes we d nt have any children. Twelve children are registered. We had t discntinue the preschl and high schl classes fr lack f a teacher. The curriculum is "Chapel Talks". It is based n the appinted Gspel readings fr the Sunday. Each lessn includes suggested Bible readings, a children's message and a brief prayer. The children lk up the readings in a Bible with the lder nes helpng the yunger nes. It is like a ne rm schl huse. We celebrate with a party fr religius hlidays such as All Saints Day (Hallween) and Christmas. We are nw preparing fr St. Valentine Day (Valentine's Day) and Easter. Once a mnth Virginia Antnetty des a craft with the children. Teachers are Mel and Rhnda Bentz n the first Sunday f every mnth, and Pat Phaklides and Glria Valdez, wh are als c-superintendents. Marleta Andersn, Directr f All Saints Preschl, invited us t be in their Christmas Prgram this year. Lilia Carrill, Katherine Lucer, Anneliese Medran, and Natalie Reil were angels and they sang "O Cme All Ye Faithful". Caleb and Casey Dlan and Jacb Gabaldn played the part f shepherds. Christian Educatin hsted the Ckies and Cca Scial in Fellwship Hall after the prgram. Small Grups - A Small Grup is between six t eight adults wh cme tgether t study the Wrd. It can be all men, all wmen, cuples, singles, r a cmbinatin. They meet in the leader's hme nce a week fr abut tw hurs. On December 4th the first small grup f six wmen met. We studied "Gd S Lved Us", an Advent Bible study in fur sessins. Nw we are studying "The Bk f Jb", a Bible study in six sessins abut making sense ut f suffering. Next fr Lent, will be a bk fr six sessins, "The Seven Last Wrds f Christ". If anyne is interested in starting a small grup, I wuld be happy t help yu get started. Studies have shwn that churches that have small grups are the fastest grwing. Respectfully Submitted, Glria Valdez 20

We cmpleted the cnversin frm Quickbks t Pwer Church. This cnversin insures that cntributins are recnciled t the bank statement each mnth and restricted giving is prperly accunted fr. We changed bkkeeping firms at the end f 2015. Michael Tamasi is ur new bkkeeping firm. We will finish the prcess f refinancing the church in February 2016 s that the rf and ther majr infrastructure prjects can be cmpleted. As reprted last year, we are still wrking n a way t sell r dnate several parcels f land. These lts are lcated frm Belen t Ri Ranch. We tried t dnate t Adelante but their bard f directrs decided they did nt want them. We will need t decide n an alternate plan. In additin, a plicy needs t be develped regarding what types f dnatins the church wishes t accept. The church cntinues t pay taxes n these lts that have little r n value. The cntract fr the Verizn cell twer lease was renegtiated in 2015 which dubled the mnthly rent we receive but the first payment was nt until December 2015. The easement request frm Crwn Castle (frmerly T Mbile) that wuld have generated an additinal $400 per mnth is n hld at this time. Giving was dwn in 2015 as cmpared t 2014 by a little mre than $20,000.00 but we held expense dwn as well because we did nt have a pastr s salary expense. This will be an area that will need t be given special attentin in 2016. I wuld like t pint ut especially the Preschl. They made a huge turn arund in 2015 ging frm running a deficit t a psitive incme number. I knw that Marleta and her staff wrked very hard t accmplish this and everyne shuld let them knw hw much it is appreciated. With Gd s help, we lk frward t a bright 2016. Our ensemble musicians are all vlunteers frm the cngregatin wh give freely f their time and talents t enhance the wrship experience during every service. As a staff, we are thrilled and grateful t wrk with s many talented musicians. The All Saints Chir, twenty six members strng, cntinued t sing fr three Sundays a mnth plus special services. Chir members led Hlden Evening Prayer during Lent and Advent, and several served as assisting ministers as well. The chir presented selectins frm the Ellingbe Requiem fr Gd Friday and were hnred t have the cmpser, Bradley Ellingbe, frmerly the head f chral activities at the University f New Mexic, in attendance. The selectins were cmbined with the narrative f the crucifixin. Chir members als presented the Christmas Stry narrative with anthems befre the final candlelight service n Christmas Eve. Slists frm the chir ffered music during the summer mnths, alng with several f ur yuth wh played a prelude. Instrumentalists were added t enhance a number f the services during the year. The Hallelujah Ringers had five t eight ringers wh played bells every third Sunday f the mnth. In many cngregatins, the bell chir plays nly peridically, s ur ringers are challenged t prepare tw selectins, a prelude and ffertry every mnth. They are devted musicians wh rarely miss a rehearsal and lve t try new techniques with the bells. The Hallelujah Ringers played fr the first candlelight service n Christmas Eve. The Yuth Chir, with six members ages middle schl thrugh high schl, cntinues t thrive. This chir sang first service every first Sunday f the mnth, and secnd service with the Praise Band n the secnd Sunday f the mnth, n Christmas Eve and Maundy Thursday. Many f these yung musicians als sang in Grace Ntes. A new children s chir was rganized this year fr elementary grades thrugh fifth grade. Currently three yung ladies sing the prelude fr first service n the first Sunday f the mnth. The Grace Ntes, ASLC s praise band, led the secnd service n the secnd Sunday f each mnth. We are frtunate t have utstanding instrumentalists t back up ur singers. Because sme f the riginal yuth that began the grup have graduated frm high schl, the grup was pened up t include adult singers and instrumentalists, t insure that the Grace Ntes wuld cntinue. Grace Ntes played fr the secnd Christmas Eve service. Attendance is always high at this service f praise. Thanks t all the musicians wh have participated in singing and playing praises t ur Lrd! 34

That having been said, we did have t replace a cmpressr n ne unit. Rcky Lice whse prfessinal duties lie in this area has been assisting with mnitring the systems and the preventive maintenance being perfrmed by J. D. Zentz. Based n his examinatins f the systems he believes we can cntinue t rely n them fr the immediate future. Because f cncerns ver ptential fire in the kitchen vent system, Jerry Ferdig arranged fr cmplete cleaning by a prfessinal grup. The exhaust hd is nw functining as intended. The ersin alng the wall n the sutheast side f the prperty has been examined by a Licensed excavating cmpany and a prpsal prvided.
