VERSICLES The Lord be with you. And with thy spirit. Let us pray. All shall sit. O Lord, show thy mercy upon us; And grant us thy salvation. O Lord, save the state; And hear us when we call upon thee. Clothe thy ministers with righteousness; And let thy people sing for joy. O Lord, save thy people; And bless thine inheritance. Let not the needy, O Lord, be forgotten; Nor the hope of the poor be taken away. Give peace in our time, O Lord; For thou alone, Lord, makest us to dwell in safety. Give rest to thy departed; Let light perpetual shine upon them. O God, make clean our hearts within us; And take not thy holy Spirit from us. THE PRAYERS Prayerbook, Pg. 85 Collect for the Day Additional Prayers and Thanksgivings CONCLUDING PRAYER

THE CONFESSION OFFERTORY RESPONSE The choir sings the Kyrie Eleison. Let us humbly confess our sins unto almighty God. Beloved of God, I confess to you and to almighty God that I have sinned in thought, word, and deed; that I have not served God with all my heart and mind and soul; and that I have not loved my neighbor as myself. I therefore ask your prayers for me. May God almighty have mercy upon you, forgive your sins, and bring you to everlasting life. Amen. Therefore, with angels and archangels, and with all the company of heaven, we laud and magnify thy glorious name, evermore praising thee, and saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts, Heaven and earth are full of thy glory. Glory be to thee, O Lord, most high. Amen. Blessed is he who cometh in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. All shall sit. The choir sings the Sanctus.
