Church Bus & Van Inspection Tuesday, July 25, 2017. 10:00 AM TRBA Mission Center Please join us for a Passenger Carrier Safety Day at the Three Rivers Baptist Association on July 25, 2017. This is a chance to meet with the State Transport Police and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to gain an understanding of what laws and regulations apply to the use of Passenger Carrier Vehicles. There will be a safety meeting beginning at 10:00 AM. State Transport Police Personnel will be available throughout the event to answer any questions that arise. They believe that working with you, allows them to have the greatest impact on highway safety. Through this event they hope to open the lines of communication and forge stronger partnerships as we strive to prevent collisions and save lives on South Carolina s roads. State Transport Police Officers will conduct North American Level 1 inspections on the passenger carrier vehicles in attendance. Vehicles that pass the North American Level 1 inspection with no critical violations shall be issued a CVSA decal. Critical Vehicle Inspection Items Brake Systems Cargo Securement Coupling Devices Exhaust Systems Lighting Devices (Headlamps, stop lamps, turn signals and lamps/flags on projecting loads Steering Mechanisms Suspensions Tires Van and open-top trailer bodies Wheels, rims and hubs Windshield wipers Buses, motor coaches, passenger vans or other passenger carrying vehicles - emergency exits / electrical cables and systems in engine and battery compartments / seating Please call the TRBA office at (864) 834-9635 to register. Executive Committee Meeting Thursday, August 31, 2017 10:00 AM TRBA Mission Center This is one of the most important meetings. We will be voting on the 2018 ministry budget and leadership team We will also vote on 2018 vision and ministry plan. Each church may send 2 representatives, 1 being the pastor if possible. Fall Spanish Classes beginning Monday, September 11, 2017 TRBA office Professor: Mrs. Karen Bradley Cost: $35.00 for new students $20.00 for returning students Call the TRBA office to register.

Upcoming Events North Greenville University Freshman Connect Saturday, August 19, 2017 4:00-6:00 PM Students begin arriving at NGU in August and will be looking for a church where they can connect, grow and serve. We want them to meet you and know what God is doing in your church. This exciting event includes games, music, food and displays by churches. Bring volunteers from your church to meet students. Bring tables, tent, chairs, banners, etc. for your display Be there early to set up (between 2:30 pm - 3:15 pm) Bring give-aways that students will enjoy candy, Ramen noodles, snacks, small packs of laundry detergent Bring information about your church to give students. Plan an activity to engage students at your display. Perhaps register students for a PRIZE so you can get their contact information and follow up with another invitation to visit your church.
