As we advance the vision of our Founders and spread the Word of God to women worldwide, we are seeking for quality women who are ready to go to the next level in their life and who are ready to expand this vision through expertise, wisdom, resources, time, and finances so that we may help fulfill the need for campuses, communities, and people around the world to get their needs met and be witnessed to about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is pertinent for us to intake new members who fully understand our core: Sisterhood, Discipleship, Leadership, and Fellowship. Our purpose is to glorify God and engender a sense of sisterhood by teaching women the principles of the Word of God, by displaying a pure Christian lifestyle without compromise to women worldwide, by preparing them for rescuing the lost and brokenhearted, and by engaging in fellowship with other brothers and sisters. The vision of Lambda Omicron Chi is to become the largest sorority in the world for the sole purpose of making a meaningful impact for Jesus Christ and to represent Him in a world where His image is gravely distorted. APPLICATION CHECKLIST The must be submitted inside of a 1/2 inch, black, 3 ring binder, with a clear front pocket accompanied with the following correspondence and items: Submitted with cover page of application AND face photo inside the clear front pocket of the binder. Submitted with a current full face photo, 3 x 5 postcard size, taken in front of a white background. Submitted with the $35.00 application fee. Acceptable payments in money orders ONLY. Submitted with a sealed, official grade transcript. Not applicable for non-academic status. Submitted with 2 recommendation letters. (1) Letter from Church Leadership & (1) Letter from a non-related recipient. Submitted with the 3-page typed Self-Examination essay. Submitted with a Reference List outlining 3 credible references with full contact information. Submitted with an official resume outlining your professional, ministerial, and social experience. Membership Intake Fee The Membership Intake Fee is an assessment due by the 3 rd Week of your intake process. Payments do not begin until you have been selected to proceed to the intake process. This fee is currently $700.00 and it covers the following items: - Membership Advancement Intake Process Materials - Membership Paraphernalia (Full Sorority Jacket, Sorority Shirt, etc) - Chapter & National Administration Processing Acceptable payments include checks, money orders, and cash only. 5
