On the bright and sunny Sunday morning of August 18, 1963, Mr. Frank and Mrs. Annie Ruth Garnett Trammell welcomed the arrival of their first daughter into this earthly realm. On Monday evening, July 14, 2003, Mrs. Susie Areletha Trammell Williams answered the sudden call to return home to be with her heavenly Father at the Medical College of Georgia. Her parents raised her in fear and admonition of the Lord. She was baptized at an early age at the Crawford Grove Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia. She later joined the fellowship at Greater Mount Canaan Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia. Until her untimely passing, she served as First Lady of Carey Hill Baptist Church in Clarks Hill, South Carolina. Throughout her life, she served faithfully in various capacities in each of these congregations. Susie graduated from Augusta s Westside High School in 1981 and graduated from Augusta State University in 1986. She was employed by Westinghouse Savannah River Company, Aiken, South Carolina and was co-owner of Williams Floral and Catering Service. While on a blind date, she met the love of her life, Reverend Clifford Williams. They were joined together in Holy Matrimony on Saturday, May 23, 1992. God blessed their union with two handsome sons and a beautiful baby girl. Susie was a cheerful and easygoing person. She loved her family and was loyal to her friends. She was a dedicated worker and labored tirelessly with her husband in many endeavors. Tribute to My Bride, Sue, My Georgia Peach, The Bible declares, "he that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing." Sue I don t have to wonder if the scripture s are true. You have demonstrated it everyday by your words, your actions, your support and your gentle kiss. Sue, I know without a shadow of a doubt you were the rib that God created for my side before He created this world. It took us both some time to adjust and once that opera tion of adjustment was over; we were a very good team. Sue, I know God only calls the best and the call is at His discretion. Yes, I have wished and prayed continually since Monday evening that things could have been differ ent. Yes I wish for one more time to tell you I love you. One more time to hug you, one more time to talk to you, one more time just to hear your voice, yes one more time to see you walk in church, smiling and nodding your head. But as your peep over those hills where there is no wind blowing and the Master is softly caring for you, may you once again know how much I love you, how much you really mean to me. Not just to me but to my ministry. I ask myself how can I continue? But I can hear you telling me to go on, it s all right. Sue, I just praise God for preparing you for me and me for you. I praise God for your love and sincerity, your hope for the ministry and how you just wanted to do the will of God. I praise God for you being the mother of our children. I don t know how to do some of things you did, but I promise to just do my best to make sure your imagination and your integrity stays intact. Sue, I already miss you, I already miss your laying next to me, I already miss your touch, I miss our early morn ing phone calls just to make sure we were up and ok. I cannot explain just how painful my heart is, I wish I could express it in such a way but my heart is so broken because my "Georgia Peach" is gone. \ Sue, even though I am hurt and broken I know you are somewhere in glory. Enjoying that city you have read about and heard me preach about so many times before. But I find comfort in knowing that you were saved and not only saved but had an intimate relationship with God. So as Paul declared, "to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord." I have that assurance that you are resting in the arms of the Master and that is my hope and the hope I will instill in our children. \,r So Sue, I am going to let you enjoy glory but just remember Big C, Medium C, Little C and Baby C we are on our way. Soon we will be a family again. So every time I feel the wind blowing I will feel your love. Every time I feel the rain falling down from heaven, I will feel your love. Every time the sun beams its radiance down, I will feel your love. Sue, my heart will rejoice because I know you are just letting me know, you still love me.

Dear Mama, I am really, really sad that you died Ma. I just can t seem to stop crying for you. Hopefully, when I die I will see you up there. And like the song says, Mama, "I wonder will you meet me there"!!! Your loving son, Cameron Steven Dear Mama, I am, also, really sad that you died. I just keep crying for you. Every time that I hug Dad, he cries too. He s sad because you died and that we are having your funeral on Saturday. Your son always, Carrington Spencer Dear Mama, I am not old enough to write this but my Dad and Brothers thank you for loving us and caring for us. Your baby girl, Carlita Suzanne

My Dear Daughter, I know that you are in a better place. The memories and times that we had together can never be erased. These past few days, I sit and think about the times that we were blessed to share and with a mother and daughter love, nothing could compare. I know that we had our ups and downs, but we still maintained our love and friendship on solid ground. I will miss you day by day. But, I know that you are now an angel shining through God s grace. I am going to miss you until the end because not only were you my daughter, but also you were my best friend. I will love you always Susie. Your Mother, Annie Ruth

-TO Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning" Dear Susie, You are gone to soon, without a chance for us to remind you of what you meant to our lives. You were such an extraordinary woman, full of wisdom and strength, yet a woman of gentleness. You were a shoulder to cry on and one to lean on. You were some one that we could always depend on. You were a source of encouragement and laughter. You could be stern, but never harsh. You were a joy to all of us. You will be sorely missed. However, we know, with all of our hearts, that you are with the Lord and if we live our lives as you lived, then we will see you again. Until then, we will always love you and keep that love in our hearts. You were our sister and our friend. Your Sisters and Brothers, Shirri, Sherri, Edwin, Frank, Kerry and Torence

~&LL Dear Susie, We know that from the very beginning, God s plan had to be fulfilled and on Monday you were His choice of plan. The past eleven years have been a blessing. God continuously showered you with His blessings as an individual, wife, mother and friend. You were the other source of strength and love to our family. You carried the Spirit of faith, hope, prayer, family and a powerful belief in the Word of God. We thank you God for sharing one of your best daughters with us for this season in our lives. We love you, Sue and you will be missed by our family. Love, George, Louise, Kathy and Lewis

Everything 9-Cas Its To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; A time to plan, and a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, and a time to lose; A time to keep, and a time to throw away; A time to tear, and a time to sew; A time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; A time of war, and a time of peace.

We the family would like to thank you our many friends and family for every act of sympathy you have expressed to us during this very difficult time in our lives. You have shown us that your love is for real. We are eternally grateful to Rev. Dr. Sam Davis and the Beulah Grove Church family for your generosity and support. To the Carey Hill and Greater Mt. Canaan Families you have demon strated that love that Jesus said, "by this will they know that yea are my disciples." Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. To Reverend Brendolyn Jenkins and the Staff of Jenkins Memorial Chapel, thank you for making this journey a much lighter load to carry. To our many friends and family who traveled great distances to come and share this hour with us, thank you for your love. To the host of Pastors, Ministers and Evangelists who have demonstrated their love to us, thank you so very much. May the graces of God continue to abound you. To the First Ladies who have expressed their compassion, thank you and may the God of our hopes continue to strengthen you. To all of you who have prayed with and for us, your phone calls, your numer ous donations, food and flowers, and all the other acts of love you did, our hearts cannot simply express at this time our sincere thanks for your kindness. May God continue to bless you and all that you endeavor. Then to all of you who have come today just to share in this Home Going Celebration for Sue, thank you. For many we understand it is difficult to say any thing but just knowing you are here says more than any words can ever say. May God who has brought us this far continue to keep and guide you until we all crown Him, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The family of the Late Susie Areletha Trammell Williams
