Prepara Worship The purpose our garing this evening is to worship God by installing George Rortson as sixteenth Senior Pastor Second Presbyterian Church. This ceremony itself does not confer any special power upon him, but it simply gives public recogni to God s calling on his life. We model what we do after early church in Acts 13 which reads: While y were worshiping Lord fasting, Holy Spirit said, Set apart me Barnabas Saul work to which I have called m. Please use it as a guide to pray him in days ahead! A Prayer Installa A Minister O Lord God, You have made me a pastor teac in Your Church. You see how unfit I am to administer rightly this great responsible fice;, had I en out Your aid counsel, I would surely have ruined it all long ago. Tee, I invoke Your Spirit to empower me. How gladly I desire to yield consecrate my heart mouth to this ministry! I desire to teach Your congrega. I desire to learn keep Your Word as my constant companion, to meditate upon it earnestly. Use me as Your instrument in Your service, Only do not sake me, if I am left to myself, I will certainly bring it all to destruc. Amen.
