Chapter Twenty-Seven HOW TO RECEIVE FROM EDITATION TO M A N I F E S T A T I O N M C C L A I N M I N I S T R I E S 2007 God can easily provide any object in the physical world; nothing is ever too large or too small. Where most people who understand these realities experience difficulties is not in the asking but in the receiving. In order to receive anything it is necessary to be in vibrational harmony with whatever is to be received. This is an absolutely fundamental aspect of the Law of Attraction - like Energy attracts, and since any material object, be it a house, car, money or anything else is pure Energy, then it should be clear to everyone that the person attracting the object has to vibrate the same Energy frequency in order to attract and be in harmony with it. Again, this simply cannot be stressed highly enough; everything in the Universe is pure Energy and all Energy attracts like Energy by manifesting in total vibrational harmony with it. Our own individual evolution therefore is still a fundamental aspect of The Law of Attraction, and in turn of Energy and Vibration. There is nothing in the Universe which does not follow these immutable Universal Laws. Everything is conscious, intellectual Energy which in turn vibrates in accordance with its own unique characteristics. This applies to everything without exception, and therefore everything without exception is "life." One of the most fundamentally important things that anyone can and should do therefore is to be totally, consciously and permanently aware of The Law of Attraction, and to "live in the Spirit" as a conscious co-creator of the Universe. 155
The person that understands and lives by these truths fears nothing, always existing in a state of joy in the knowledge that anything we need we can always attract every time; ask and it is always given; all we need to do is to understand how to receive. It is in the receiving that most people fail to materialize their desires. As you begin to fully understand these realities and integrate them into your Consciousness, seemingly amazing things will start to happen in your life. You will begin to attract everything you desire, people will appear in your life that vibrate in harmony with your desires, circumstances will manifest, all in tune with your vibration, all being attracted to you by what you are vibrating. As your entire existence changes in accordance with your vibration you will know within every part of your being that you are indeed a co-creator in the Universe and will henceforth approach life with joy and enthusiasm. Enthusiasm in fact is a highly appropriate word to define your state, being a derivative of the Greek word "en-theos", which literally means "in God". To live "in God" or "in the Spirit", "en-theos", is to be in harmony with God. As your realization and your enthusiasm grows you will become more and more in vibrational harmony with that which you wish to attract, and as a direct result more and more of that which you wish for will manifest into your awareness and therefore your physical reality. This is a self-perpetuating process that will very soon be noticed by those around you who will often dismiss your "fortune" as "luck". If appropriate, always strive to share your knowledge with those around you, but if they are not ready to listen, to receive and to understand, never force it upon anyone; their day of realization will arrive sooner or later. In order to place yourself in vibrational harmony with your wishes you first need to experience them. Remember; everything that exists, has ever existed or ever will exist already exists in the 156
Eternal Now beyond the physical space-time restricted aspects of the physical Universe, all you have to do is to attract it into your own individual reality by placing yourself in energetic harmony with it, thereby matching your own vibrations. To experience it is to imagine it, visualize it and be an integral part of it in your mind. Imagination is creation, and therefore when you imagine something it is very real, not some sort of figment, dream or fantasy. This is one of the very reasons creative visualization is so very powerful; by visualizing and mentally becoming a part of that which you are attracting you begin to match the vibrations that will cause it to manifest into your personal, physical reality. The quicker you can match those vibrations, the Energy involved, the sooner you will manifest the object of your visualization, your wishes and desires into your life. So to progress in creating your own reality, relax, fully experience in your mind that which you wish to receive, and then "let go and let God". Another important aspect of The Law of Attraction is "expectation". You must always know, beyond any doubt that you already have everything you could possibly wish for; it is just a matter of receiving. You must therefore always expect to receive and never doubt even for a single moment. Always know, beyond any doubt that the God will provide. A further important aspect of realizing your wishes is "desire". Unless you are in perfect harmony with whatever you wish for, it will not manifest into your existence, and desire for whatever it is you wish for is a very important component of this process. If you do not genuinely desire something then you cannot be in vibrational harmony with it, and it will not appear within your personal reality however much you may wish for it. So your wishes must always be fuelled by faith, desire and expectation, while never, even for a single moment doubting the 157
results. Ask and it will be given, there are no exceptions, all you have to do is to place yourself into a state of receiving, and The Law of Attraction will operate with total, immutable action in manifesting the object of your wishes into your life. The final key to success is gratitude, always being grateful for what you are attracting into your experience from the Universe of abundance. With all of these factors in mind it should be absolutely apparent to you by now that The Law of Attraction is extremely important, and key to happiness, fulfillment and joy. You now know that you attract to you everything and anything you hold in your mind, be it positive or negative. Your task therefore is always to accentuate the positive and reject the negative. You know that there is absolutely nothing that you cannot be, do or have, and that all you need to do is to know this glorious truth, and that you can truly attract only those most positive, desired and wished for things into your life. Part II Everyone, without exception as a "Son" or "Daughter" of God has the same powers of creation, but in order to realize those powers, certain principles need to be observed. One of these principles is faith. "Faith" is not some abstract "belief" based upon what someone else has said, faith is rather a very powerful feeling, a knowing and trusting beyond all doubt that we do indeed have God-given powers which will manifest anything at all in accordance with our thoughts. Here is what the Bible says about faith: "Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall 158
believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." - Mark 11:23 And Jesus admonished his disciples for not being able to achieve their wishes due to a lack of faith in their own God-given powers: "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." - Matthew.17:20 Here Jesus is saying that nothing is impossible, and that we are only limited by our belief in our ability to create in accordance with thought. In fact we have no limitations; moving a mountain would be simple to anyone who had the faith in their own God-given ability to do so. The source of our ability to achieve anything we desire is the routed in our Subconscious Mind. The Subconscious Mind is infinitely powerful, beyond the comprehension of most who fail to understand the powers of their own Subconscious Mind. What the mind of man can conceive it can achieve. The Subconscious Mind is not a separate Mind, but rather an aspect, by far the largest aspect of our total Mind. I should point out that the brain is not the mind; the mind resides in every cell, molecule, atom, subatomic particle and quanta of Energy that comprise the Energy field that constitutes what we perceive with the five physical senses as our "body". The Subconscious Mind will accept any sustained impression, particularly fuelled by emotion, and therefore any sustained thought, and bring it into manifestation without question. It is the task of the Conscious Mind therefore to choose carefully which sustained thoughts and impressions the Subconscious Mind receives. This is what the Bible says about these important truths: 159
"Marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well". - Psalm 139:14 The "Soul" in this context contains the Subconscious Mind. The Subconscious Mind controls every aspect of our body as well as our individual experiential reality, and has so from the moment of conception. The Subconscious Mind originally created our body from the genetic blueprint contributed by both parents, maintaining every function including for example, heartbeat, breathing, digestion, immune system, cell regeneration and much more; in fact every component of the body is controlled by the Subconscious Mind by communicating the levels of Mind that comprise them. This is the basis of true healing. If we wish to heal ourselves we simply impress our wishes on the Subconscious Mind as if it is a reality Now, and the Subconscious Mind then executes the wish immediately and completely. We therefore have total control over every aspect of our body including health, healing and bodily characteristics, appearance and function; they are not subject to some external factor, although of course wrongful eating for example will result in disease if left under the control of the cravings and ego driven desires of the Conscious Mind. Likewise if we wish for something to manifest into our experience, the Subconscious Mind will do this every time through its intimate connection with the Mind of God. However, it is absolutely crucial that we know these powers beyond any doubt. Doubt is a powerful vibration which tells the Subconscious Mind that your conscious Mind, your ego, does not believe the Subconscious Mind can achieve your wishes, which, as many have already discovered, will become your experience, which is why The Law of Attraction does not appear to work for some people. 160
An excellent way of impressing your wishes on the Subconscious Mind is by prayer. True prayer is designed to influence reality, for example changing something in our lives. This is what the gospels say about prayer: "Whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive". - Matthew. 21:22 This is saying that if when you pray, in other words you "ask" for something, knowing beyond all doubt it is already yours, then so shall it be. Another of the disciples confirms this when he said: "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" - Mark 11:24 So you see; these important truths for using The Law of Attraction are emphasized time and again throughout the Bible. The reason is this; true prayer is not and never was intended to be dogmatic in nature, or conform to the creed or dogma of others, it is rather a science, in other words true prayer is used in the unshakable knowledge that immutable Universal principles will be influenced in the direction of the prayer, or rather the thoughts and emotions behind the prayer which must always be stated as if you have already received the object of the prayer. Another important aspect of prayer is "faith". True faith is an absolute faith in the infinite power of God, that whatever you wish for has already manifested, and is not subject to some external influence. Now this is a very important point to note; the power of Jesus as a healer was due to the faith that the people healed placed in Him. They believed that Jesus was Divine and the "Son of God", of course we all are, and that He had special God-given powers of healing. If 161
the people He healed had not believed this, then they would not have been healed. Here is an excellent demonstration of this: "And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, according to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, see that no man know it." - Matthew 9:28-30. The blind man was healed by the faith that Jesus possessed special Divine powers. He knew, beyond doubt, he would regain his site and so it was. Had the blind man not believed that Jesus possessed very special healing powers, he could not have regained his sight, because he would not have sent the impression of "sight" to the Subconscious Mind to restore. Jesus knew this when he said "see that no man know it" he was cautioning about telling others lest they mock him and cause him to lose his faith in the healing process. If he lost his faith in the healing powers of Jesus, upon which his healing rested, and started to believe it could not be true, then his Subconscious Mind would have receive the thought that "his sight cannot be true", that would be his reality, and he would lose his sight again. It states in Mark: "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth" - Mark 9:23 Part III As it says in Matthew: "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you".- Matthew 7:7 We have confirmation of these truths in this passage: 162
"Thou shalt decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways". -Job 22:28. What this means is simple; once you have experienced the power of The Law of Attraction by utilizing Universal principles, then you will know beyond a doubt it is real and true and will go forth enjoying the realization of being a creator of your own reality. This is why it is important to achieve your first success; when you do your life will change and you will rejoice from that point on in the knowledge that you really do control your own reality and your own destiny. As it says in Mark: "Go thy way, thy faith hath made thee whole" -- Mark 10:52 It is important to reconcile the union of Conscious and Subconscious Minds. Very often the ego or the Conscious Mind will object to your use of The Law of Attraction because it prefers to be in control, and will want to convince you that it is all fantasy. An important part of progression is to subjugate the ego completely. The first step however is to silence your Conscious Mind when using The Law of Attraction, of course, your first success will quell the doubt of the ego. Before anything can be achieved, both need to be in harmony. The Subconscious Mind is always in harmony and never argues about anything, so it is the Conscious Mind, the ego, that needs to be convinced. The Law of Attraction and other Universal principles are always in immutable operation. Every thought, every emotion is a cause with a corresponding effect whether intended or not. So if your thoughts towards others are not of a positive nature, or worse you wish them harm in some way, the result will be such that whatever you thought of others will be attracted into your own experience. 163
"Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again". - Matthew 7:1-2 The fact is this; from a purely temporal perspective you cannot know why a person is who they are, or why they are acting in the way they do. Judging people by your own standards, expectations or prejudices is a serious mistake, and one which has to manifest in your own experience in the same way sooner or later. This is the meaning of "karma" which is not a punishment and reward system, but rather the immutable, perfect operation of the Universe through which we learn by experience. Very often the emotion that blocks people achieving their desires is fear in one of its numerous manifestations. As the saying goes "there is nothing to fear but fear itself". Fear is a destructive emotion alongside its close relative "worry". There is nothing to fear because we all control, manage and create our own reality. If you are experiencing fear, then the best action, rather than fight it, is to ask God to free you from fear. The bible in fact teaches exactly this: "I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears". - Psalm 34:4. One of the most common fears of people next to the illusion of the change known as "death" is the perceived inevitability of "ageing". In fact people only age because they believe they do, as a result of programming from an early age. People believe that at a certain age you must gain gray hair, teeth fall out, wrinkled skin and then comes mental degradation and senility before finally the release of "death". Here is the truth; it is a medically established fact that our entire physical body renews itself constantly. Some parts renew in hours, 164
some days, some weeks, others perhaps months, but after a short time we have a brand new body; this applies to everyone in physical life. So why is it then that people age? The reason is because they believe they will age so the Subconscious Mind happily accepts that belief and manifests the signs of aging in accordance with those beliefs. Some might say that it is due to oxidation of tissue due to free radicals in the blood. This may or may not be true, but even if it is, the Subconscious Mind will use whatever mechanism the Subconscious Mind deems appropriate to achieve the desire in the quickest, most efficient and most effective way, and if that is by free radicals in the blood then so be it. The body cells are forming body parts in accordance with the instructions of the Subconscious Mind. If the Subconscious Mind instructs the intelligent skin, hair and eye cells to form wrinkled skin, gray hair and poor eyesight, that is what they will do. "Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me; When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness; As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle". - Job 29:2-4. This passage demonstrates that once you know that you cannot truly age then that will be the reality and the reality will be: "His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth" - Job 33:25. I could say much more about the true teachings of the Bible, but I will return to this subject from time to time in the future. Every belief system, religion and tradition has elements of truth, but the absolute truth is a thread that runs through all. Be conscious of one most important truth. It is fine to desire material things that genuinely help the learning process, and to 165
bring genuine joy. No material thing however, in and of itself, obtained by the demands of the ego, or vanity, or to look better than others can bring true happiness, fulfillment and above all the very reason we are here; Spiritual progress. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law" - Galatians 5:22-23 And finally always remember; only you can create your own reality by the thoughts you hold in your mind; the Bible also knows this truth: For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he" - Proverbs 23:7 166
