Heritage Seminars are unique educational experiences which study Jewish history and Jewish ancestral roots in Eastern Europe. Heritage Seminars is accredited by the Rothberg International School at Hebrew University. Through extensive visits to the destroyed centers of Jewish culture and scholarship and a course of creative academic study that takes place throughout the seminar, participants in Heritage programs strengthen their Jewish identity, awareness, and commitment to the Jewish people and the State of Israel. All programs include orientation and advance preparation. Heritage excels at meticulous planning in the areas of educational curriculum, logistics, staffing, kosher food services, medical personnel, and security. To date, we have served the educational needs of over 14,000 participants since our inception in 1990. In addition to 35 One Year Programs in Israel, Heritage has served the needs of a growing list of adult and family programs. Participants visit primary sites in Warsaw, Krakow, Lublin, Galicia as well as Treblinka, Majdanek, Belzec, Plaszow, Auschwitz and Birkenau.
