Rev Teresa Wilborn is a Diaconal Minister from Aldersgate Methodist Church. She has served with the Methodist Missions Society (MMS) since 2008. She has supported missions in Cambodia and Vietnam, and is currently Area Director for Timor-Leste and Laos. Prior to being called into ministry, Teresa was Director of Operations for AT&T Asia Pacific. She and her husband have called Singapore their home for the past 17 years. 2. 8. PRAYER & SELF DENIAL (PSD) CLOSING SERVICE TRAC WSCS will hold its Prayer & Self Denial (PSD) closing service on Saturday, 16 September 2017 at 2pm, Sophia Blackmore Hall at Barker Road. Ladies are strongly encouraged to attend this service which would meaningfully cap a week of PSD observance from 10 Sep. It will be held on the 4th Sunday of each month, at the Cathay F&B area (located at the top of the escalator as you are coming towards Hall 5). The fellowship time will start immediately after service ends until 12.30pm, and light refreshments will be served. 12. WSCS > WELLNESS TALK Preventive medicine is in! WSCS has invited the Ings to share on The Key to Ageing & Living Without Disease. The talk comprises a 1.5 hours of presentation and ½ hour for Q&A. Learn how to live disease-free for a longer time. The speakers will share health nuggets from their experience in restoring many to health and to continue to live well without relapse. The talk will also motivate you to form life-giving habits and adopt these principles as a way of life. Dr Clarence Ing and May Ing hail from the USA, with medical qualifications from Loma Linda University. He is a Medical Doctor, Eye Surgeon and specialist in Preventive Medicine. She is a Masters of Public Health in Nutrition and is a Registered Dietician Nutritionist. They are Christians and are sought-after speakers who have made time for the talk as they are passing through Singapore.
