AN AGENDA FOR CHANGE REPENTANCE IS NOT: not just Remorse not Confession or Acknowledgement of sin not just Changing your Mind not simply Cessation from Sin (Gen 6: 6) not simply Sorrow for Sin (2 Cor 7:10) not Sorrow simply because you got Caught!
AN AGENDA FOR CHANGE REPENTANCE is raising the white flag of surrender to God is a U-Turn is when I am heading one direction, which is the way of sin and self-will, and I stop and turn around so that I am now going God s way
AN AGENDA FOR CHANGE REPENTANCE is a change of mind or will which has been produced by godly sorrow and which will result in a change of life is a change of man s will denying our will and submitting to God s will. This change of volition is caused by the goodness of God and godly sorrow (Rom 2:4, 2 Cor 7:10)
