MESSAGE FROM THE COMMITTEES HARI was the first temple in the United States owned by a community. Since it's foundation, HARI has always been a community owned temple and this is possible because of your dedicated support to HARI, and to our community. Every year, programs and events at HARI are increasing in numbers & attendance due to your support. This year, marks the 25th Anniversary of our new temple facility. HARI was shifted to the present location in 1986. We have planned many programs throughout the year to commemorate the milestone. We had many successfully programs during this year. Besides celebrating major festivals this year, we have also conducted discourses and received blessings from six renowned spiritual Gurus, Shri Shrutpragna Swami, Pujya Bhupendrabhai Pandya, Pujya Bhaishri Rameshbhai Oza, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, Param Sadhvi Bhagawatiji, and Shri Mridul Krishna Maharaji ji. We held social gathering event HARI Fair and on the next day, religious program Shri Rudra Yagna and puja. We are thankful to sponsors for providing funds for the event. The success of these was evident by the large attendance to these events. HARI Gala was attended by about 250 patrons. It was a great evening enjoyed by all. The event raised over $27,000! MESSAGE FROM THE HARI GALA COMMITTEE Thank You for supporting the HARI Gala. HARI Gala with the Hollywood/Bollywood theme, was a fun-filled evening and we would not have been able to do this without you. The support we received through the generous sponsorship allowed us to cover the entire expenses of the event. As a result, all ticket sale proceeds went directly to HARI Temple. We raised 27,000 dollars from sponsorship, silent auction and ticket sales. This will help us to continue to provide a legacy of our heritage to our children. We sincerely thank you again for all your support, attending the Gala, sponsorship and donations. Renu Joshi Chair HARI Gala Committee Page 9
