All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all that exist, The Creator. We praise Him, we seek His aid, we ask for His forgiveness, and we repent to Him. We seek refuge from the evils of ourselves and the evil consequences for our actions. Whomsoever Allah guides, then none can misguide him and whomsoever Allah sends astray there is no guide for him. I testify that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, having no partners, no sons or daughters, and I testify that Muhammad ibn Abdullah (salla allahu alaihi wa salaam) is His slave, final Prophet and Messenger. May Allah grant peace, blessings, and mercy upon the Prophet, his family and companions. May he guide you, your family, me and all the Muslims to stay upon the path of righteousness, the path of truth guidance ameen. To Proceed:
May Allah guide you to success ameen. Please Answer the following questions to the best of your ability inshaallah. 1. As from before in our previous test regarding the other caliphate of Islam you are asked to name the author of the book you are reading? 2. Please tell me just for the benefit of memorization inshaallah, the name of the series of books we are using? 3. It is important to note that there are two (2) editors to this particular series can you name both of them inshaallah? 4. As a rule, Muslims after they hear the name of a companion usually say (radi allahu anha) what does this mean? And why do you say it? 5. Uthmaan bin Affan (radi Allahu anha) was known for his financial contributions to Islam, but there was one other companion who excelled in this area who was it? 6. Our beloved Messenger of Allah (salla allahu alaihi wa salaam) made the following statement about Uthman (radi allahu anha) because he was so bashful, 7. The first battle between the Muslims and the disbelievers occurred at a place near Al-Madinah, and Alhamdulillah this battle ended with a great victory. What is the name of this battle? 8. In the battle of Uhud, the Muslims suffered a huge loss as a result of disobedience to the Prophet (salla allahu alaihi wa salaam) many companions were killed including who (2)? 8a. Where is Uhud located? 9. In the battle of the ditch, the Muslims were attached by 10,000 pagans. At whose suggestion did they dig the ditch? 10. Why is the battle of the ditch also called The Confederates invasion? 11. Can you remember how many Muslims marched during the conquest of Mecca? If so, tell us how many. This test have been made extensive because the students had ample amount of time to prepare and to put in a little extra study time (inshaallah) this is not an open book test!

How many Muslims gave a pledge to avenge the death of Uthman before they learned that, the news of his death was false? 24. Tell us some of the good deeds that you remember hearing that Uthman did for the Islamic State. 25. For the excursion of Tabuk, the prophet (salla allahu alaihi wa salaam) said anyone who provides outfits for the soldiers will have all his sins forgiven by Allah. Upon hearing this news Uthman donated camels, and horses. He then gave the Prophet (salla allahu alaihi wa salaam) dinars. 26. What dua did the Prophet make for Uthman, after this contribution for the excursion of Tabuk? Please summarize for us inshaallah, by telling us how you would explain to your companion, family member, new Muslim or for the purpose of dawah, who Uthman was, what he represented, how he helped further the Islamic state, and the many compliments about his character and so forth. However, if you earnestly try and still have some difficulty with answering the questions you may try the following options with points deductions inshaallah, and know that Allah is the All-Knower, All-Seer. *Remember your total points for a test are 5 points/rewards. 1) You should contact the Instructor by IM message during the test session. Inform them that you are having difficulties and would like to choose on of the following available options. 2) 1 point deduction student can ask for a hint, to jog the memory for three (3) questions only. 3) 2 point deduction student is allowed to use their own notes. 4) 3 point deduction student is allowed to use their book.
