David Parsons networks with churches, schools, organizations, individuals, and businesses to help them engage their community for Christ. As a North American Mission Board missionary, he comes alongside local churches by helping them begin new types of ministries to reach the unchurched youth in their community. This connection of churches to community is the focus of his ministry, as well as training churches to mentor fatherless boys and girls and discipling men in the marketplace. David and the members of his ministry believe that every church can be connected to their community and be on mission for God. Other than the registration fee of $80 per couple, the cost of attending a Weekend has already been paid through the donations of other couples. You may believe you don t need a marriage weekend, but you deserve the blessings God has in store for you on the Weekend. Please pick up a brochure outside the church office for infor information. mation. You may also visit the website at www.unitedmarriage.org www.unitedmarriage.org. Dear Church Family, The new children s church schedule is available for September 2016 through January 2017. Please pick up your copy at the Welcome Center. Please note te we have integrated some changes into the schedule. The children ages 3 and up will be participating in the worship service every 1st Sunday of the month. There will not be children s s church on these Sundays Sundays. We will still have a Nursery Class. We now have a permanent volunteer for the Sunday School Nursery, Teresa Thomason. Teresa has generously offered to work in our Nursery so each child can feel more comfortable during this class with a consistent volunteer. As this class grows I will add back volunteers to assist her. The rotation schedule will still apply to the 11am Nursery Class. Our Children s Wednesday Night ministries will resume on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. 2016 More to come on these classes soon! Thank you for all your continued support with our children s department! - Jamie Deren
