The Lantern of Light, Burgess Hill Reflections on July CYPRUS HALL, CYPRUS ROAD, BURGESS HILL, RH15 8DX We saw a very high standard of mediumship at The Lantern with SEE MORE OF FACEBOOK BURGESS HILL SPIRITUAL CENTRE JULY 2ND ROBIN HODSON What a great evening with Robin, his evidence was amazing. Lesleigh lit the candle for a homeless Man Lionel remembering that we are all one, and then asked spirit what song to sing, Lean on Me was chosen, how apt with the lighting of the candle, synchronicity in progress. Robin linked with a few and brought forward beautiful messages and evidence from the world of spirit. Thank you Robin for your work tonight. 9TH JOHN COLLINS*** This was the first time that we have had a psychic surgeon at the Lantern. John didn t disappoint us, along came Sophie and Louise Eaton. Whilst John was demonstrating Louise s guide was giving an in-depth account of what John was doing, you most certainly have to be a doctor with the words that Louise was using, amazing demonstration. Quite a few people in the congregation were chosen to experience this gift. 16TH MARCUS CINGANELLI The first warm evening of the year, it certainly stopped people from coming out, we have never had such low number in years. It was sad to see Marcus working with such low numbers. But spirit never let us down and Marcus had an amazing evening. The music was fun as the lead was not put in the bag, so ipod, but no sound system, luckily Lesleigh has some songs on her phone, always a backup. Marcus spoke of an experience he recently had which was very enlightening, as it helps us all to grow when developing. It is how we accept a message. A friend of his wife s came for a reading. Marcus on the way home was thinking of Garlic, his wife had cooked a meal and the house plus Marcus smelt of Garlic. Marcus apologised mentioning Garlic, so the buzz word was GARLIC it was mentioned so many times to the sitter. After the reading she said that her loved one didn t give the Code that they had made.
Yes I hear you thinking to yourself, what was the code word, none other than GARLIC, don t you just love spirit and the way they work. A great evening. Thank you Marcus, for linking some of us with our loved ones. 23RD EDDIE MORGAN Another warm evening, at least we now have control of the air-conditioning. Another quiet evening, but what wonderful evidence Eddie gave. One new lad had spoken to Lesleigh at the beginning of the evening about his anxiousness of being part of the evening. And whom did spirit go to first but the young lad, he certainly left with a different attitude because of his message. The lad certainly lifted the vibrations when Eddie brought through a link with a policeman, which could not be acknowledged only by saying, no not really only that, I haven t been caught!. Eddie linked with a few in the congregation bring forward off the wall evidence. Lesleigh even had her dad through, it was his birthday and Eddie said to Lesleigh I have a urn of ashes, which Lesleigh and Malcolm laughed at, Lesleigh dads ashes are still in Lesleigh mums house in the cupboard and his name is Ern. Great evidence. Thank you Eddie for your work tonight. 30TH MALCOLM PUTLAND Unfortunately late in the afternoon we had a message to say that Stevie Robinson had a migraine and wasn t able to visit us tonight, Malcolm stood in for her and had a wonderful demonstration, even though Malcolm was not feeling too good, after a busy week, but when you are not feeling the full shilling we have to trust in spirit, as they will never let you down. There were a lot of new people at the centre who were amazed at the evidence that was coming through. Malcolm gave one gentleman that he should be sitting in circle, you have given that to me before he said. Apparently 7 years while doing a demonstration at Hove town hall he gave this man the same message, for a year he sat in circle them moved away from the area, time to get back on the pathway perhaps. He was there with his family, some were non-believers, but went home with a different attitude. A great evening of uplifting links from those in the spirit world, proving that life is continuous. You certainly gave him a warm Beacon welcome. Bill read from the book the afterlife of Billy fingers and joke that he was on 10% commission. Lesleigh dedicated the service to Betty Horne who had made her transition to the spirit world this week. During the morning Lesleigh was drawn to where Bill came from Horndean Betty was a horn before she became a Horne. Bill's address was very inspiring, people were really agreeing with what he was saying. Lesleigh did a sound check of the music before the service, but spirit had others ideas. The music was really playing up. Still it did caused humour which was needed. Messages were accepted, and the evidence very evidential. Thank you Bill for your work this morning. 11
JOIN US ON *****FACEBOOK: HASSOCKS SPIRITUAL-CENTRE***** Malcolm s & Lesleigh s Diary: Reflections on July GOSPORT SPIRITUALIST CHURCH 183 FORTON ROAD GOSPORT HAMPSHIRE PO12 4HB SATURDAY 2ND JULY 10AM TO 4PM CRYSTAL WORKSHOP Well they certainly received what the workshop was all about, Crystal healing, and we feel that they were not expecting to receive what they got. The meditation first brought one lady to tears, Lesleigh asked Malcolm to continue while Lesleigh took the lady to a private room to help her. When we went back to the group, she couldn t of had much more confirmation about what Lesleigh was helping her with, because as we came back the words from Malcolm to a lady were basically the same, don t you just love spirit. The healing that went on was powerful for the whole day, so much love n hugs from the crystals as well. Some crystals found their new homes as well. A fantastic day in the company of spirit and crystals. CORINTHIANS CHURCH & HEALING ASSOCIATION PRIMROSE HALL, 15A LONDON ROAD, HAILSHAM EAST SUSSEX BN27 1EB SUNDAY 3RD JULY 11AM DIVINE SERVICE WITH SPIRIT ART A lovely little group of people was there to hear the service. Lesleigh opening prayer was about handing it over to god and healing and when the chairperson asked for a reading or an address, Lesleigh said I am handing it over to the congregation what would you like to hear a reading or the address, An address was in favour, which was wonderful as this is the core of our movement. Malcolm allowed his guide to communicate with us all and so much resonated with the congregation, people were saying to Malcolm we like to hear your address. Lesleigh did a couple of sketches which she delivered at the end, Lesleigh is drawn to certain things for her information sometimes and was drawn to one of her pencil, the wording Conte de Paris, Sepia, France. 2 ladies could connect with this, to separate the links Lesleigh was then drawn to the numbers on the pencil 617, with a deep breathe one lady said that was his racing number, with that the love that was coming through was amazing. More evidence was given. Powerful info. Malcolm linked with a few in the congregation bring forward messages from loved ones. CHICHESTER CHRISTIAN SPIRITUALIST CHURCH, 39 BASIN ROAD, CHICHESTER, WEST SUSSEX PO19 2PY SUNDAY 3RD JULY 6.30PM DIVINE SERVICE WITH SPIRIT ART 12
What a beautiful sunny evening, there was a good number in the church, but not as many as normal. But with the singing we raised the energy and had another beautiful service. Lesleigh reading was on Judgement, which itself was powerful, then when Malcolm addressed the congregation, wow! Lesleigh felt Derick Marney or his guide was speaking through Malcolm, the power and the words coming through had to be listened to again and again to truly understand, wish it was recorded. It made us all sit up and listen. One lady who was receiving a message from Malcolm cheekily said I am not judging, which brought laughter to the evening. Lesleigh did a couple of drawings which were accepted. The gentleman who had travelled to Portsmouth for a drawing last week spoke of how the drawing was helping him and how it had improved his link with healing. BROTHERHOOD GATE SPIRITUALIST CHURCH 21C ST JAMES STREET BRIGHTON THURSDAY 14TH JULY EVENING OF MEDIUMSHIP WITH MALCOLM The numbers were very poor,put Malcolm was asked late in the day if he could stand in for a cancellation but all the congregation got a message even though I had to go over time a bit. It was funny that two of the congregation that came Malcolm met on the bus on the way there and knew from a previous demonstration Malcolm had done. It was a good evening and everyone enjoyed the evidence that came forward. BROTHERHOOD GATE SPIRITUALIST CHURCH 21C ST JAMES STREET BRIGHTON SUNDAY 24 TH JULY DIVINE SERVICE WITH ART It was so good to be back in the church were Lesleigh and Malcolm did there training under the guidance of Betty Horne and Rose Robson. Lesleigh s reading and Malcolm s address were very powerful, philosophy at its best, bring forward the truth, wisdom and knowledge from spirit. Malcolm linked with a few in the congregation and Lesleigh did a couple of sketches. The chairperson whilst being given a message from Malcolm about lightening a candle was acknowledged, it was the drawing that Lesleigh did of his wife in 2006, 10 years ago wow. Which really made him stand up and be counted; it is framed and has been on display for all these years. There was even a spontaneous round of applause, not necessary as we are just the instrument that spirits were using that evening. Thank you spirit 13

CHRISTIAN SPIRITUALIST CHURCH 100/100A TONBRIDGE ROAD, MAIDSTONE, KENT ME16 8SL TUESDAY 26TH JULY @ 2.30PM DIVINE SERVICES WITH SPIRIT ART What a great crowd, it is so wonderful to see the church nearly full. The reading was interesting and Malcolm address was very powerful, making people sit up and listen. The singing of the hymns was very rousing. Malcolm linked with a few in the congregation bringing forward messages of hope and upliftment. Lesleigh did a couple of drawings which were accepted. One lady spoke to Lesleigh afterwards that she had acknowledged who had been drawn for her, there was an identical picture of the person. Again, another powerful address. Messages of upliftment were given by Malcom and again a couple of drawings were drawn by Lesleigh guide. It would have been too emotional to be given in public. Lesleigh did a couple of drawings which were accepted along with the information. The meditation first brought one lady to tears, Lesleigh asked Malcolm to 14
continue while Lesleigh took the lady to a private room to help her. When we went back to the group, she couldn t have had much more confirmation about what Lesleigh was helping her, because as we came back the words from Malcolm to a lady were basically the same, don t you just love spirit. The healing that went on was powerful for the whole day, so much love n hugs from the crystals as well. Some crystals found their new homes as well. A fantastic day n the company of spirit and crystals. A TRIBUTE TO BETTY HORNE 15 BETTY HORNE 1926 2016 It is with a heavy heart that we write this, Medium Betty Horne made her transition to the higher life at the end of July after a short illness. She will be sadly missed by so many, she was a wonderful ambassador for spirit, bringing through amazing philosophy and messages to so many, a mother figure to some, friend to others, a wonderful mentor to Lesleigh & Malcolm and to a lot of other mediums working the platform. The times Malcolm was not going back to circle, but she saw the potential in Malcolm and would push him and push him. Betty was honoured to be asked to take the first midnight Christmas carol service we ever did as she had never taken one before. Betty would always come to do our clairvoyant evenings as she knew that we are a very spiritual centre. She would always but in wise words from spirit, a message for us all. Betty had been working for spirit for over 50 years being vice president of Brighton and Hove Spiritualist Church and for 20 years President of Brotherhood Gate Spiritualist Church where Lesleigh and Malcolm did their training. Betty was true of spirit and a very generous lady often giving Lesleigh some coats, making the most adorable cakes. Putting on so many events at the churches. Always immaculately dressed, totally respecting Spirit. We love you dearly Betty and will continue your teachings in our own groups. Thank you for all that you did for us both,
you will truly be missed in the physical, but we know that you will be with us in our continued work for spirit. You waken, stretch, and if you take it slow you become as a flower unfurling. Languorous, slow is the way to go, and the light quickens you. You have time to be in the moment. Through the window nature beckons : come on out and enjoy the show. There is just so much space, and peace and quiet, it's a waking meditation. You are so close to source in the morning, there is no barrier. You feel as one with all that is, there is no expectation. You just are. In the flow, with the flow, you are the flow, and thus your day begins to be co-created. You choose. Every day, every moment. You choose. And in your early rising you allow the day to creep up on you, to reconnect to this world you've chosen to live in. The scenery constructs itself around you. What's familiar, the well trodden path, and the new. The day opens up for you, before you, in endless possibility. You can choose to tread as soft as a whisper, so people are never quite sure whether you were there or not. You can choose to be here, or elsewhere. And the luxury, sometimes the soul necessity to become an early riser, unfolds before you.
There is so much to commend it. The colours slowly intensify as the rising Sun inflates them; the smells of the Earth, the street, rise to meet you. You hear only the birds on their rising. You're sipping water as the day manifests before you. Taking it slow, feet on your ground, not throbbing, but pulsing with the connection. All you need to do, need ever to do, is to take one step. And then another. And as you move forward, resistance falls away. It dissipates. It's gone. Unimpeded. You have no weight, yet you are substance, in these early waking moments. You are noticing, perceiving, at one with the environment around you. And it's so early you experience the splendid isolation. It's creative, rich, enriching, empowering. So tonight as you go to bed, programme yourself for an early rising. And notice, enjoy, be in the moment. Bathe the Earth, the waking Earth, with gratitude. Thank you for the day. Firstly, consider the soul. This is the description of spiritual body that inhabits the physical body during a person s life on mother earth. Next, let s consider where exactly the spirit body comes from. This is not simply a matter of a transfer from the spirit world to the physical at the time of birth of an infant. No, what I m saying here is that the spirit body has to itself have an origin. As we have discussed before, everything originates from the Ultimate Being, God, as you may describe him or her, yes the original and ultimate source of all vibrational energy. Each spirit entity begins form from this source, and could be described a splinter from this god essence. Each soul therefore must be regarded as a mini God! Yes, if you have not already realised this, your physical body is inhabited by the soul God vibration! Now what you think of that! Amazing isn t it! The next step is summed up by the words of that well-known hymn Praise, my Soul, the King of Heaven. As all humans are godly beings, it is the duty of all humans to worship their physical being and by so doing ensure that the vibrational level of the inhabiting soul is kept as high as possible. Worship does not mean in this context, the lavishing of gifts on the human body as this could be interpreted as gluttony, one of the deadly sins. No, worship in this instance means ensuring that the physical body and the brain within this structure is kept in tiptop condition. Not only the physical framework of bones, muscle, sinew, skin etc but also purity of the mind. We have discussed before that due to the presence of the spirit body within the physical that the physical encompasses two minds. It is therefore said that if you feed and look after the physical mind, the spirit mind and therefore the spirit soul will be duly nourished. 20
