FAMILY PROMISE ESTATE SALES We are a compassionate, professional team with over 20 years experience in handling all your liquidation needs. Handling a loved one s estate or liquidating your own personal assets can be a difficult and emotional task. The reason to have a sale are many. A death in the family Downsizing Moving to a new home Financial Circumstances We make this process worry free with no out of pocket expense. ESTATE SALE PROCESS We set up a time to come out and preview the estate. We take a basic inventory and arrange a date for the sale. A day is scheduled to clean out cabinets and display/price items, which is usually the Thursday before the sale on Saturday. We advertise your sale and market your sale on the internet and through our client emails which will alert all our loyal customers. We will place and take down signs that we strategically place in the local area to draw local customers and help them easily find the sale. We position staff in all areas of the home to help with sales, questions and to stop any potential theft. Left over items will be boxed and donated to the charity of your choice. Within a few days after the sale we will send you a check for 65% of the sale. The home is left clean of trash and ready for sale, rental, etc. WE DO IT ALL and have references upon request. ALL 35% of the proceeds go toward helping Family Promise of Sacramento to assist homeless families in achieving self-sufficiency and regaining a home of their own. We bring together trained staff, hundreds of volunteers from our congregations to provide direct, hands-on service to help families overcome the difficult and painful problem of homelessness. Please give Marsha Spell, Executive Director of Family Promise, a call for any questions you may have or to schedule a preview of your home.
