March 2017 Newsletter Ram s Horn Ministry Bringing Good News To Nations Ram s Horn Ministry, Roger and Myrna Eilers, 21400 Dushane Parkway, #207, Farmington, MN 55024 Phone: (320) 760-7666 E-mail: ramshornpol@yahoo.com or r.mhelpu@gmail.com EXCITING NEWS!!! Abundant Life Church, Minsk, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the church on June 17 & 18 AND WE ARE GOING!!! The thought of it brings back so very many memories! Twenty-five years ago, right about now, we were eagerly and not quite frantically, trying to get all things organized to take a team and move to Minsk! We were still teaching and administrating; working to get things ready to turn over Good Shepherd Christian Academy to new leadership and get personal details in order!!! Wow!!! But it was so exciting!! (And a bit scary especially for our parents and family.) In March 1992, Myrna was ordained; we formed Ram s Horn Ministry to send the sound to the nations of the Gospel of Jesus Christ which we use to this day as the avenue for connection and support. We still have some of the original partners, along with others of you! To God be the glory! We want to use this issue to share how the ministry you are a part of has affected the nations, and God keeps fulfilling His call and His Word! We are absolutely amazed at how our united efforts have advanced the Kingdom far and wide! God has knit our hearts in love and purpose for so many years! We are blessed!!! We will share what our leaders have turned in to us or parts of it! PASTOR PAVEL AND IRYNA ANOSOVI now living in Wroclaw, Poland. We are happy to share with you the amazing things that God does in our lives and in our ministry! We are happy to go and fulfill the great commission! The church that the Lord has planted through us is called Nations Church. There are more than 50 people in the church; 11 students continue to study in the biblical college of the church. March 19 will be the official opening of the Nations Church. Our friends, pastors and bishops from Belarus will come to bless and establish the church. (Over 100 people from other churches came and 4 pastors from Poland and 2 from Belarus a glorious day!) We will have a large evangelistic project from 22-28 May in Wroclaw during which most of the churches and mission organizations come together to preach the gospel, give concerts, creative programs to unsaved in various parts of the city. Pastor Jon Neitzell and a team will come to help us, and we are seriously preparing for this time. Above, Pavel and Ira, and Peter and Pavel, two of their four children; Left, Nations Church, Wroclaw, Poland Belarus we continue to take care of our dear Abundant Life Churches in Minsk and Gantsevichi. Together with our youth team in February we held a Missionary Conference. About 100 people attended. (And this is only young people!) We saw many for the first time praise God for the hunger and thirst of our youth. Please continue to pray for the pastor s position for ALC, Minsk. We also continue to participate in the development of missionary service in Belarus. As instructors of the Kairos missionary course, we prepare the Belarussian missionaries for long and short term missions. Our ministries have had teams this year in Russia, Belarus, Spain, and Poland. In other years we reached out to other countries in Eastern Europe and Germany. Eilers Note: we also want to report that Pastors Ernst and Luda Trikoza continue to lead 2 home groups, including a Chinese one, in Minsk and travel speaking and sharing the Gospel. They are in good health.
TOGETHER-BMECTE MINISTRY Andrei and Julia Shaitar (he was a youth when we pastored!) In March, we are holding 2 days camping leaders conference in Minsk. We expect 100 people from different parts of Belarus to come. Our team works hard in preparation meetings! We also prepare for the teenager s conference in May. There will be about 300 teenagers from different churches and places around Belarus. (They work amongst the denominations.) I am training all the leaders for this conference. Every week a group of young people gather at 7 a.m. in McDonalds for prayer and Bible study. This follow-up ministry is called Breakfast Together. It was initiated by a guy who was saved at one of our camps when he was a child. At one of the meetings I shared about the relationships before marriage. We were also just at a wedding of a former camper. About 25 couples have found each other in our camps! There is also a youth ministry in Minsk called Fire. Young people from church invite their friends to an anti café to discuss important issues. It is a place that is quiet, calm, and a place to find new connections. Some come that are afraid to go to church. There I was speaking about the love of God to every person, and after that there was a talk show where Julia and I were sharing about our family values. We ask you to pray for us for our family, the conferences, Andrei Shaitar family and teen meetings the ministry team and raising new leaders, for a new car/van for our family and ministry. Also our own apartment/house. We thank you so much for your prayers and support. We pray that God will do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work within us. Eph 3:20 Eilers note: Julia is now pregnant with their 2nd child; please pray for this, too. Their teams have done camps in Belarus, Russian, Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Czech Republic, Germany, Holland, Italy. CHRIST FOR THE NATIONS-BELARUS Pastor Peter and Inessa Ashiechyk We would be remiss if we did not include them, though we do not have a special letter from them. We spent a day in the school in October, and the students are amazing in their zeal and love for God! Peter and Inessa also pastor Christ for the Nations Church in the same building that the school is located, and over a 100 people are coming and growing! We got to be a part of the founding team back in 1993 and go whenever we can. They covet your prayers as they work to retain their building and program and finance projects. The impact of CFN-Belarus Students of CFN- Belarus goes back many years and continues through its grads, music, and TV programs. Many people in the nations in Eastern Europe have been affected and changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Top: Sasha and Natasha family; God Seekers Conference and Sasha praying. GOD SEEKERS MOVEMENT Alexander and Natalia Chuvirovi (she is Andrei Shaitar s sister) are leaders in the God Seekers Movement based near Kiev. They lead Bible schools for the preparation of disciples of Jesus Christ: IPSI (the abbreviation of Russian words: to seek, to know, to hear, to fulfill), organize and lead teenagers and youth camps, Penuel Camp, Prayer conferences Penuel, take part in the general projects of the God Seekers Movement, Universal Prayer for Awakening, as well as participate in missionary trips to churches, helping churches develop a close relationship with God. In 2016, their team, along with local churches, participated in the adolescent and youth camps Penuel Camp in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Vladivostok. Hundreds of young children experienced life-changing encounters with God, growing in the knowledge of God. From October to March they led an IPSI school in Estonia in which students from Estonia, Belarus, Russia, and Krygyzstan studied followed by a month practice in Ukraine and Russia. They live by faith not receiving salaries, trusting God with financial provision thanks to the personal partners who support them. They have a team of 4 young people, their former students, who also devoted themselves to full-time service to God for different terms of 1-5 years. Eilers note: they are now back in Kiev area as a family and with team members, but still going out to do the camps in the summer. They have three children. KARMIEL, ISRAEL Marat and Liza Sandler We praise God that He allows us to serve Him. Marat is helping a lot to the pastor of Russian-speaking congregation we attend. He does counseling and leads a home group. We have several families with problems in relationships, and Marat is helping them. Six months ago, Liza began a women s support group. Four women come together to share their hearts, problems, to support one another and pray. We are all very busy with kids, homework, so seldom do we have time to spend time with friends, so it is very important to share our hearts with one another and have wonderful prayer time. Right now in the congregation we have many teenagers; we help them to grow in the knowledge of Yeshua. They attend different youth events. We prepare to meet 2 families who will emigrate to Israel soon. We help them in practical needs and adjustment to new life. This is all, I think. God bless you! Shabbat shalom! Eilers note: they have six children, one of whom is autistic, but they are seeing miracles in his life! She will be in Wroclaw with Naomi when we come as she celebrates bar mitzvah; it will be our first time to actually be with Liza in many years, though we communicate often. So happy for that! CANADA-CUBA Galina Shelepen Follow up from last newsletter: Galya is leading a team of women to Cuba from April 29-May 6. Last year our team had the opportunity to talk with many Cuban women and identified a lack of available information and training on key women s issues such as child upbringing, women s health and managing stress. These conversations have birthed a vision to hold a three-day women s conference for the Cuban women covering these topics. Since committing to holding this conference, more than 70 women have already registered! Due to a lack of proper infrastructure, economic difficulties and inability to travel, these women face their everyday struggles in isolation. Attending this conference will allow them to connect with each other, to share their hopes and encourage each other, and also talk about their struggles and to discuss strategies to overcome them. Galina connecting with the Cuban women and children. Below: Cuban mother and child The conference will be absolutely free to the Cuban women. For the last 9 months, we have been working tirelessly on raising funds and collecting humanitarian aid. I am asking you to support our team and me personally in your prayers. Eilers note: Galya is my daughter back from the teen group in Minsk. We are thrilled that she has taken these steps not without hardship. Please pray for strength for her for the trip as she suffers from fibro-myalgia. What a strong woman of God she is becoming! 180 YOUTH MINISTRY Heather and Jarek Pozaryski in Washington, Iowa. We just visited them after we were in Lincoln, IL, with some of our grads from Midwest Bible School. Jarek is a graduate of CHDN in Gdynia and met Heather and Jarek Pozaryski and their daughters; Ministry building and youth room. Heather as she was on a mission in Poland. They now work in this ministry and Heather is the director. Take a look at the size of that building! Lots of work; lots of potential! They mostly work with dis-advantaged youth and teens from the community in counseling, running a full program with youth group and worship-teaching, preaching, leading, plus they cook every night for who comes in! We are including them from now on as God is leading us to come alongside them in a greater way. We know that para-church ministry is tough, and you stand alone a lot unless you get support in prayer and finances. Right now is crucial for them as they have only been in this work for less than a year, and they have much to learn on how God wants to move and use this ministry. BUT they are wise in their moving forward; eager to love and show God s Kingdom. We bless you!!! Jarek is in need of a new job to help meet their family needs. CHRIST FOR THE NATIONS (CHDN) Joshua and Izabela Cagle, Gdynia, Poland. In Christ for the Nations Day School, there are 12 faithful students in attendance. Saturday school has 30-60 students depending upon the subjects offered. At the Warsaw Saturday CFN Bible School, about 25 students are attending. We have enjoyed these students enthusiasm to learn God s Word and to go into all the world to teach the Good News. Eilers notes: Josh and Iza are also joined by his parents, Paul and Kathy Cagle who live in the school building and serve in teaching, cooking, greeting and caring for visitors. They are just amazing! Josh also serves as pastor of Ergo Church in Gdansk where the students are able to learn to serve and minister in a church setting (including women!). The Petra Gdansk group of youth which has much leadership from our graduates and present students, recently hosted the Exodus Conference in Gdansk which over 2500 youth and others attended. It was an outstanding effort with great fruit for the Kingdom. We were so blessed! (and proud!) We also want to say that our other graduates from 2001 and beyond are also ministering in places of influence, authority, and with anointing. One has faithfully served in music ministry for many years, much of it with Catholics and they are open! We have many living in other parts of Poland and Europe, so their lives touch many places, as well! CHDN Promotion brochure; Seminar advertisement and Exodus Conference ENCOUNTER MINISTRIES Steve and Penny Statema The Statemas oversee Eden Church, School of Transformation, and a regional gathering and equipping center in Pillager, Minnesota. They have allowed us to be friends and speak into their lives since our time in North Central Minnesota. We asked them to describe their vision. Steve and Penny Statema and Eden Church Services We are all about equipping the Body of Christ to do the work of the ministry. To us, the foundation of that means teaching the bride how to hear the voice of God and walk with Him through all of life. It s all about being in His Presence and learning to overflow from there. Part of building that foundation means laying a true foundation on who God is as a good God and loving Father. And then teaching that they are loved sons and daughters walking out the Kingdom in the spheres of influence that they are already a part of: business, family, school, etc. That they would hear God s call on their life and how it resonates with the heartbeat that God put in them and walk out their purposes overflowing from His love. Eilers note: Energetic family have 5 children, expecting number 6! Steve still works a fulltime job, and Penny home schools the children. Grace and more grace.
The work is rapidly multiplying now as fruit is produced. The key feature of the work: In each place the joy of the Lord is so evident, along with great love and dedication to Jesus and to each other. Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ SUMMARY of RAM S HORN MINISTRY As you can see, there are wonderful people doing awesome things for the Lord. All of them live by faith and the contributions of those who believe that God is doing great things through them. Ram s Horn supports each as we are able, and even every day we call in more finances for us to be able to give more! We also continue to follow up on our jail-prison ex-inmates. None are incarcerated at this time, and we have good reports on their learning to follow a godly lifestyle. Some call as often as a couple-three times a week, others every couple of weeks, others we follow on Facebook as we also do so with very many of our graduates and former parishioners. We came alongside a gal in our building here to start a weekly prayer meeting which is starting to congeal and be effective. We will also begin a 3-session series on Kingdom Culture on Sunday nights more if there is a need until we leave for overseas on May 31. SOOOO the trip: May 31 to June 25. We will give more details later for prayer on itinerary. We will spend 3 weeks in Poland and 5 days in Belarus for anniversary.
