All of us at St. Paul s hope that you have a restful and enjoyable summer vacation wherever you may find yourself during the beautiful summer days in New England. As you head off from Harvard Square, please be sure to remember St. Paul s during the summer months. Although a more relaxed pace takes over, the good work of proclaiming Jesus Christ very much continues here the sacraments are celebrated, the outreach continues in a variety of forms, visitors are welcomed and year-round parishioners are in and out, and yes, the regular expenses continue even in the summer. Your weekly offertory contribution is of great help during the summer while you are away you can set a recurring gift through our on-line giving portal on the parish web site or by using the new Giving- Kiosk in the vestibule of the church. Thank you for remembering St. Paul s while you are away! ST. PAUL s FOOD PANTRY St. Paul s Parish operates a food pantry each Saturday morning in St. Paul's lower church. The food pantry operates in collaboration with Fair Foods, a grassroots organization from Dorchester that provides fresh produce and bread to sites throughout the Greater Boston area through their "Two Dollars a Bag" program. The food pantry is in need of volunteers. Assistance is needed with (i) coordinating the distribution of the food (in St. Paul's lower church) and (ii) picking up the produce from Fair Foods in Dorchester. This is a great volunteer opportunity for anyone looking to participate in a social justice program with minimal time commitments. If you would be interested in participating in this social outreach program or if you have any questions about the food pantry please contact Molly McDougal at mkmcd95@gmail.com. LET ETERNAL LIGHT SHINE UPON HIM Please pray for Walter J. Sullivan, whose funeral Mass was celebrated last week. Remember in your prayers his grieving family and many friends.
