Diocese of Palm Beach Additions for January 2017 Bulletin Announcements The monthly announcements can be downloaded to your PC via the diocesan website at www.diocesepb.org/bulletins National Migration Week Mass in Spanish: There is new wording this time in Spanish for the diocesan Mass in honor of National Migration Week. The Mass will be held in early January 2017. Previously released January 2017 Bulletin Announcements had wording for this event in English only. Remember you can find resources including prayer cards on the USCCB website at: www.usccb.org/about/migration-and-refugee-services/national-migration-week/index.cfm Updated copy for Anniversary Masses and Registration (new) This set of additions has new wording for the diocesan Anniversary Masses to be held in February for couples celebrating milestone anniversaries. This new wording has Parish Registration Instructions and Deadlines. Please share not only with congregations but also with your office staff coordinator for this event. Note: parish registration deadlines are the end of January. The Special Collection Letter: It is posted and on the website at www.diocesepb.org/collectionletters The letter for the month of January is for Catholic Schools and will take place Jan. 14 & 15. The letter is expected to be printed and/or read Jan. 7 & 8. Updated 6th Annual Caritas Dei Bishop s Gala This set of additions includes updates copy regarding Catholic Charities Caritas Dei Bishop s Gala. It is highlighted and noted as such at the top of the copy. DSA 2017 Save the Dates the 2017 DSA will have presentations and an official kick-off in January. These important dates to share are included. Updated Wording Option #3 Married Couples Register Now for the Anniversary Masses The Diocese of Palm Beach will hold its 33 rd Annual Anniversary Masses at two different locations and on two different days in February. The first will be held Saturday, Feb. 11 at 10:30 a.m. at Ascension Church in Boca Raton. Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. The second Mass will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lucie Church in Port St. Lucie. All couples who will be celebrating 25, 40, or 50 or more years of marriage in the calendar year 2017 are invited to participate. Most Reverend Gerald M. Barbarito, Bishop of Palm Beach, will preside at both celebrations. Cake, coffee and punch will be served in the parish hall after each Mass. To attend and be recognized, please contact your own parish office and register your names as soon as possible. For those attending the Feb. 11 th Mass at Ascension the deadline to register is no later than no later than Monday, January 23, 2017.
