The Most Holy Trinity Thank you to everyone who helped with or participated in the St. Kilian Golf Classic. The efforts of our Golf Committee netted over $33,000 for our Parish! Parishes in Collaboration (formerly Parishes In Need) Special Collection June 6-7, 2015 (NEW DATE) On the weekend of May 30-31, 2015, all people of the Diocese of Orange will have the opportunity to donate to the Parishes in Collaboration Collection. This collection is for the purpose of assisting parishes in the Diocese of Orange that exhibit ongoing needs that cannot be paid for by their ordinary income or have urgent needs (repairs). All money donated to this collection is put into a restricted fund that will be administered by a group consisting of laity and clergy of the diocese. Parishes as stated above will apply for grants from this fund to be used for their specific needs. Most recently the committee has focused the grants to safety issues including emergency electrical and plumbing repairs. By participating in the Parishes in Collaboration Collection, all people of the Diocese of Orange are helping one another support the works of our parishes that struggle financially. Thank you for your generosity. Have you noticed our beautiful new votive candles? We are very pleased to have available votive candle stands at both the Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Joseph statues. Please only use the available candle lighters and DO NOT USE any other means of lighting the candles, such as matches or paper as they pose a fire hazard and may damage the votive holders and/or the stands themselves. Thank you so much.
