In an effort to make it possible for more of you to attend, there will be two one-day conferences. One will be in Winston Salem in August, and the other will be in Raleigh in October. The program is packed with three break-out sessions each hour with each session offering new ideas to take home with you to use in your ministry. Your only difficulty will be choosing which ones to attend! A registration form is on page 7. You may register on line or by mailing in the registration form. If you d prefer to come on Friday and spend the night, near-by hotels for both Winston Salem and Raleigh are listed. You will need to make your own reservations. Lessons from the Bible: Tom and Carla Pless In this session you will learn how to build lessons on the Scriptures. 10:40 10:50: BREAK 10:50 11:55: Break-out Sessions Understanding Islam and Loving Muslims for Christ: Asad and Pat Hashemi What do we have to offer Muslims? They have been given mixed and sometimes wrong information regarding Christianity and Christians. How can we make a difference in their lives so that instead of a corrupted religion, they see love and feel the healing touch of Jesus Christ? Speaking American: Tom and Carla Pless Tips, tricks and methods to help our students with their foreign accents. Interaction in Your Classroom: Becky Wuerzer In this session you will learn strategies to promote student interaction within your class. You will leave better equipped to foster conversation and stimulate discussion. Many ideas include little or no prep work.
