DWA Conference was created to teach, impart and make aware that dance is a ministry! For many years dance has been placed on the back burner and labeled as space filler for the worship service (a space between the choir and the preached word). However DWA has established that we as ministers of dance are not space fillers but an important part of the entire worship experience! Dancing With Authority is a conference of excellence... DWA teaches, in order to dance with authority, you must live a lifestyle of worship and holiness! We believe that as ministers of dance, we are required to walk out the entire bible; therefore our focus is on ministry, and building the kingdom of God--one dance at a time. Purpose: To see dance restored back into the church and empowering minister s of dance and worship to represent the kingdom with authority and excellence! Objectives: To Create an avenue where people who are gifted in the areas of the arts can use these gifts to glorify God. To Promote entrepreneurship among Christian artist, musicians, singers, and dancers. To Create clean wholesome activities that both young and seasoned Christians can participate in. To Use the arts as an evangelistic tool to bring souls into the kingdom of God. Conference Presenters Pastor Anthony Mays is a man with a heart for the things of God. He is anointed to teach and preach the word of God with power, revelation and without compromise. The eloquence of his anointing reaches out and embraces your inner man, challenging you to live victoriously, grow spiritually, and know God intimately. His God ordained assignment is to minister to the whole man; spirit, soul and body. His visionary ministry is Salvation and Restoration, with emphasis on deliverance, the family, finances, and fellowship. Called to the Ministry in 2003, Pastor Mays was ordained at New Christian Life Church, under the leadership of Pastor Richard W. Butler. In 2004-2005 Pastor Mays received leadership and prophetic training as a member of Embassy Worship Center, under the covering of Dr. N. Cindy Trimm. After receiving his mandate from God, Pastor Mays obediently fulfills his calling to Pastor and founded Restoration House Empowerment Ministries International, affectionately known as RHEMI. Along with his wife, Pastor Mays is the owner of ACM Management Company and the Tax Man Accounting Services. ACM develops, produces and promotes Christian Artists and Music in the spirit of excellence. This includes managing their 6 beautiful daughters; who are known all over the world as The Anointed Chenaniah Praise Dancers which are involved in international dance ministry. She shares diligently in ministry with her husband Senior Pastor Anthony Mays. Together they are a dynamic duo that brings a special brand of ministry of integrity, care and teamwork, impacting the body of Christ tremendously. Celebrating 12 years of ministry with Excellence. The Chenaniah Praise Dancers is a group composed of five (5) sisters... Ashanti, Toni, Tiffany, Briana and their little sister Acacia. They are the Children of Pastors Anthony and Carla Mays. Ashanti is the choreographer. God uses her to choreograph routines that are prophetic and life changing. This remarkable family began dancing in the den of their home in August of 2000. The name Chenaniah means Strength of the Lord and God has Planted from 1 Chronicles 15:22. Their name is indicative of their struggle. For, they were birthed out of rejection. At a tender age, the girls learned that Their pain was preparation for their destiny. Ashanti s pain and rejection, fueled her passion for the dance, and she began to download dance routines to her sisters. The group quickly learned that the call of God has nothing to do with how you feel. Their debut was a service in appreciation of their Youth Pastor in August 2000. It was suppose to be the one and only time they danced. However, God had another plan. Although the girls had no formal training in dance, Chenaniah quickly grew into a full-time ministry. By October 2003...Chenaniah was hosting their third Gospel Extravaganza. In August 2012, Chenaniah hosted their 9th Annual Dance & Worship Conference Dancing with Authority and the DWA Awards Show. Chenaniah began their 3rd DWA Intensive Conference Tour in June 2012. The girls Coproduces their TV Show It s Time to Dance. Chenaniah has danced nationally and internationally at 100 s of events, conferences and churches. Today the girls can be seen ministering with some of the greatest gospel artist,
speakers and leaders of our time. Such as: Dr. Morris Cerullo, Bishop John Francis, Donnie McClurkin, Dr. Cindy Trimm, CeCe Winans & Always Sisters Conference, The Girls are powerful speakers and ministers of the Gospel and have been featured on TBN, BET, PAX TV, and The Word Network.
