Da wah Concept

DEFINITION The Arabic term د عاا da wa is derived from the verb da aa means to call; to invite; and to supplicate, i.e. to call on God. It is used to refer to the act of conveying or calling people to the message of Islam.

In that context it is a contraction of the phase adda wah ilallaah.

Say, This is my way. I invite you to Allah. I myself see my Way in full light and my followers see it, too..

Da wah was the basic mission of the all prophets. They were raised up among their respective people to call them to the worship of Allah alone and to abandon the worship of the various false gods that they had invented.

I have sent every nation a messenger [proclaiming:] Worship Allah and avoid the [worship of] false gods..

Is it Fardh or Nafl?

Which is 24 Hours Fardh Ibadah

Importance of

What Allah says in the Quran

Da wah is an obligatory duty (Fard) for all Muslims. There are lot of verses from the Quran which proves it. & There are lot of references from the Quran & Hadith which prove Da wah is a duty of all Muslims:

Invite (all) to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and reason with them in ways that are best and most gracious: surely your Lord best knows those who go astray from His path, and He knows best those who follow the right way." (Sura Nahl:125) "And it is thus that We appointed you to be the community of the middle way, so that you might be witnesses before all mankind and the Messenger might be a witness before you." (Sura Baqarah:143)

"You are now the best people brought forth for (the guidance and reform of) mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah." (Sura Ale-Imran:110) "Who is better in speech than one who calls (people) to Allah, works righteousness, and says, "I am of those who bow in Islam"? (Sura Fussilat:33)

By [the token] of time (through the Ages]; إ ن ال ا ن س ان ل ف ي خ س ر Surely, Man is in loss; Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and [join together] in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.

What was the Mission of all Prophets(as (as)? From Adam (as) to Muhammad (pbuh)

What was the main responsibility of all Sahaba (Ra)?
