Greetings and God s blessings, Faith grows when it is lived as an experience of love received, and when it is communicated as an experience of grace and joy. It makes us fruitful, because it expands our hearts in hope and enables us to bear life-giving witness: indeed, it opens the hearts and minds of those who listen to respond to the Lord s invitation, to adhere to his word, and to become his disciples. ~ Pope Benedict XVI, Porta Fidei, Apostolic Letter 2011, #7 Reading these words from Pope Benedict, I could not help but think of how Saint Anthony Marie de Claret Parish has been so richly blessed by God from its founding in 1909 to the present. Our community of faith is a fountain of God s mercy and a stronghold of charity. Each and every day God s Holy Spirit inspires us as a people of faith to grow in wisdom, grace, and friendship with Jesus, His Son and Our Lord. A successful Capital Campaign will prepare us for the future and allow our parish to meet the needs of all who come to call our parish home. We worship, honor God, and pass on the faith in a beautiful structure that gives glory to God in its beauty and the activities we do under its roof. We are blessed with an exceptional campus and wonderful facilities, but they are in need of repair and updating. Reading this brochure will enlighten you about the various projects that your sacrificial giving will make possible, and provide descriptions of the various giving plans available. The challenges we face call for a goal of $1.5 million dollars. Your prayerful consideration of a sacrificial gift to this campaign is so very much appreciated. Thank you for joining your fellow parishioners and priests in praying for the fruitfulness of this critical effort in the life of our parish family. Please know that your priests are here to serve you in the best way we can. May God bless you always! Sincerely yours, Fr. Miguel Duarte Pastor 2

Saint Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic Church Grace to you and peace from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ. ~ Ephesians 1:2 In spring 2010, Fr. Juan Carlos Lopez convened a parish building committee with the intent of exploring the needs of our parish in terms of planning, relocating and building. We developed a Master Plan that identifies the full potential use of the site as well as proposed phased steps for building development to keep pace with the anticipated growth of the parish over the coming years. The following projects have been identified as needs within the parish: Renovation of Current Classrooms Additional Classrooms and Meeting Space Rectory (on parish property) Parish Hall It is our hope that through this campaign we may begin to execute the projects listed above in the subsequent phases. PHASE III: Parish Hall Construction of a new Parish Hall with a commercial kitchen will serve as a space for our social events, ministry activities and community outreach programs. In conjunction with this project, the parking lot will be paved, well lit and have adequate handicapped spaces. The results from our feasibility study, conducted in May 2015, provided insight from you to the parish planning committee. Your responses were favorable and supported moving forward with these important phases of our Master Plan. Our estimated goal is $1.5 million for the initial phase in the proposed campaign. However, please note: EACH PHASE WILL ONLY BE COMPLETED AS THE FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE. Phase I Goal: $1.5 Million PHASE I: Classrooms and meeting spaces for our children and adults Renovating our current classrooms and building a new Religious Education facility, along with remodeling the Holy Family House, will allow designated space for faith education, music ministries and youth programs, which will nurture our expanding church and growing community. PHASE II: Rectory (priests residence) on church grounds Building a rectory on the church grounds would allow our priests to be more readily accessible in the event of an emergency. Having someone living on-site at all times also has benefits for the security of the property. Once a rectory on site is completed, the current off-site rectory would be sold. 3

Gift Recognition In an effort to recognize the families and individuals who make a sacrifice to our campaign effort, we will create a Gift Recognition Plaque which will be located in the parish. The participants to this campaign will have their desired inscription listed in alphabetical order. We ask that each parish family or individual considers challenging themselves to participate within one of the following levels: St. Anthony s Pillar Gifts of $50,000 or more, their names would be gratefully displayed as Pillars of our Campaign, St. Anthony s Foundation Gifts of $25,000 - $49,999, their names would be gratefully displayed as Founders of our Campaign, St. Anthony s Leadership Gifts of $15,000 - $24,999, their names would be gratefully displayed as Leaders of our Campaign, St. Anthony s Patron Gifts of $10,000 - $14,999, their names would be gratefully displayed as Patrons of our Campaign, St. Anthony s Benefactor Gifts of $5,000 - $9,999, their names would be gratefully displayed as Benefactors of our Campaign, St. Anthony s Donor Gifts of $3,000 - $4,999, their names would be gratefully displayed as Donors of our Campaign, 4 All payments can be made over a three year period. 6 Saint Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic Church As members of St. Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic Church, we are faced with a challenge that only together we can be overcome. If we achieve or surpass our goal of $1.5 million, the parish will be able to renovate existing facilities, and expand to some new facilities in order to provide space for our growing parish community. It is only by our generosity and reflection for a sacrificial commitment that we will be able to accomplish our objectives We have established a goal of $1,500,000 in order to put forth our projects. While this seems like a large amount, participation by all members of the parish family will not only make this goal attainable, but surpassable. Suggested Gift Plans In order to assist you in your consideration of a commitment to our appeal, we have listed a suggested gift plan. We understand that each individual, or family, has different financial obligations and abilities. Yet one of these plans should be within the means of most of the parish family. Please consider which plan best fits your monthly budget. This may be the best guideline for your commitment. Remember, this campaign is based on equal sacrifice, not equal giving. Giving Plans to Consider Total Pledge 10% Down Payment 3 Annual Payments 12 Quarterly Payments Suggested 36 Month Payments $100,000 $10,000 $30,000 $7,500 $2,500 $50,000 $5,000 $15,000 $3,750 $1,250 $25,000 $2,500 $7,500 $1,875 $625 $20,000 $2,000 $6,000 $1,500 $500 $15,000 $1,500 $4,500 $1,125 $375 $10,000 $1,000 $3,000 $750 $250 $7,500 $750 $2,250 $562.50 $188 $5,000 $500 $1,500 $375 $125 $4000 $400 $1,200 $300 $100 $3,000 $300 $900 $225 $75 Our Family of Faith Looks to the Future Your Commitment We are asking our entire parish family to consider a minimum pledge over the next 36 months of $3,000. The pledge would be a sacrifice of a little more than $2 a day in order to ensure a promising future for St. Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic Church, and should not pose a burden for most parishioners. When reviewed further, this amount comes to about what many parishioners pay each month for cable television. Please Consider a Special Commitment Some of us have been especially blessed by the Lord with material means. A heartfelt appeal is made to those parishioners to reflect upon their ability to make a very generous pledge to the campaign. We ask that those who are capable of making pledges of $10,000, $25,000, $50,000 or more lay the foundation of success for this appeal. Please Consider Your commitment contribution payments made are over a three year (36 month) period. If necessary, arrangements can be made for payment over a four year (48 month) period. Your commitment to St. Anthony Marie de Claret Growing, Living and Building Together Campaign is in addition to your weekly tithing contribution. Your financial commitment to this appeal will help ensure a strong future for the parish. As of November 2015, payment reminders and envelopes will be mailed according to your payment preference. ~ continued on next page ~

Saint Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic Church Campaign Prayer Oh My God, You have created me to do some definite service. You have committed some work to me that you have not committed to another. I have my mission; I am a link in a chain, a bond of connection between persons. I will trust you, whatever, wherever I am. If I am in sickness, my sickness may serve you. If I am in perplexity, my perplexity may serve you. If I am in sorrow, my sorrow may serve you. You do nothing in vain. You know what you are about. Though friends be taken away, though I feel desolate, though my spirits sink, though my future is hidden from me, yet I will trust you, for you know what you are about. I ask not so much to see as to be used: through Christ our Lord. Amen.
