The Greek words for great tribulation are, megas thlipsis (Times 3=last 3.5 years) Matthew 24:21, Rev. 2:22 and Rev. 7:14. The one instance that does not is in Acts 7:11. This verse explains the great suffering associated with the historical famine that came over Egypt and Canaan at the time of Jacob.
