Once In Royal David's City Once in royal David's city Stood a lowly cattle shed Where a mother laid her baby In a manger for His bed Mary was that mother mild Jesus Christ her little child He came down to earth from heaven Who is God and Lord of all And His shelter was a stable And His cradle was a stall With the poor and meek and lowly Lived on earth our Saviour holy And through all His wondrous childhood He would honour and obey Love and watch the lowly mother In whose gentle arms He lay Christian children all should be Mild obedient good as He For He is our childhood's pattern Day by day like us He grew He was little weak and helpless Tears and smiles like us He knew And He feeleth for our sadness And He shareth in our gladness And our eyes at last shall see Him Through His own redeeming love For that Child so dear and gentle Is our Lord in heaven above And He leads His children on To the place where He is gone Verse 6 Not in that poor lowly stable With the oxen standing by We shall see Him but in heaven Set at God's right hand on high When like stars His children crowned All in white shall wait around

Away In A Manger Away in a manger no crib for a bed The little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head The stars in the bright sky looked down where He lay The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay The cattle are lowing the Baby awakes But little Lord Jesus no crying He makes I love Thee Lord Jesus look down from the sky And stay by my cradle 'til morning is nigh Be near me Lord Jesus I ask Thee to stay Close by me forever and love me I pray Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care And fit us for heaven to live with Thee there The First Noel The first Noel the angel did say Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay In fields where they lay keeping their sheep On a cold winter's night that was so deep Noel Noel Noel Noel Born is the King of Israel They looked up and saw a star Shining in the east beyond them far And to the earth it gave great light And so it continued both day and night And by the light of that same star Three wise men came from country far To seek for a king was their intent And to follow the star wherever it went This star drew nigh to the northwest O'er Bethlehem it took its rest And there it did both stop and stay Right over the place where Jesus lay Then entered in those wise men three Full rev'rently upon the knee And offered there in His presence Their gold and myrrh and frankincense Verse 6 Then let us all with one accord Sing praises to our heavenly Lord That hath made heav'n and earth of naught And with His blood mankind hath bought
