attended, the races for the most, part wore exctng, the crowd was orderly It was not Maus lucky day, however as far as wnnng was concerned, for the more mportant, events were won by vstng horses The tme was generally slow, owng to a heavy track caused hy rans durng the two prevous days The weather overhead, however, was all that could be desred, by noon the mud on the track was farly well dred up
