KING SOLOMON THE BEST REQUEST If you could ask for one thing in the world and know it would be granted, what would you request? What did Solomon ask for? Read 1 Kings 3:9. When Solomon asked for wisdom, what was his attitude? Read 1 Kings 3:6-8. How did God answer Solomon? Read 1 Kings 3:10-14. How did Solomon use wisdom to determine the baby s real mother? KING SOLOMON TRUE WISDOM How was God able to create the entire universe? Read Proverbs 3:19-20. How can we grow in wisdom? Read Psalm 111:10. Fearing the Lord means to place Him above everything else, to respect Him and obey His commands, to know He is holy, and to appreciate His awesome power. When we understand this, what should we do? Read Proverbs 3:7. God s wisdom came into the world in the form of a human. Do you know His name? Read 1 Corinthians 1:24, 30. How does Jesus give us His wisdom in our hearts? Read John 14:16-17. PRAY Heavenly Father, thank You that when we accept Jesus as our Savior, You send Your Holy Spirit to fill us with Your wisdom and power. Amen.
